Somebody email Spindrift, Iskar Jarak, Onrack and the rest because these guys need some more competition.

Great stuff. ;)

Has anyone ever considered doing a Darujhistan rooftops/assassins etc scene? Or maybe even the now-infamous party that Rake turned up to?

That would be great scenes to paint. If anyone's doing it, here's some great inspiration:

Just googled Huston Alexander. Does look similar. Quick Ben is not a very buff man though :D

I started using Samuel L Jackson as reference, but I think only the nose made it all the way through to the end.
For the lady I didn't use any reference, but when I look at her now she reminds me of Dexter's sister.

Here's a quick sketch of Sorry and Ganoes Paran.

The Sorry and Ganoes image really reminds me of the style in the early Hellboy graphic novels, with the heavy blacks and minimal detail. I like it.

Me wants a piece of the cake, too :D

..Erm, I mean, I actually got my hands on my watercolours again after what seems like ages, and there you go..

Posted Image

I sincerely hope you don't have to guess what/who that is :D

That said, I changed my initial plans and if I get some more free time until end of the year, I'm going to work on my sketch of the aftermath of the siege of Pale :D

King, Assassin and Hound from High House Shadow
Did these with Ink.
First time I've used it for a pic like this,
pretty happy with how King and Assassin came out; Hound not so much.
Added border and tweaked the colour a bit in Photoshop.

Holy cow, Puck, those new paintings are awesome, esecially the Pale one. Love the colours and the composition!

I've always pictured Tattersail as a redhead as well :D

Love those images Puck. Love the Pale one, really really like the Mason of Death card and the Moon's Spawn image.
Laseen looks like I thought she would and the Forkrul Assail is awesome.

I also like the House Shadow cards by Nobbs - they have a great atmospheric feel to them.

This competition is really hotting up now and thanks to all who have contributed so far. :D

Thanks, glad you both like the Pale image :D Been cradling this in my mind for six years - when I first read GotM - and now got motivated to bringt it on paper :D

@Grim: I was perfectly sure it's mentioned somwhere, that Tattersail's a redhead.. But if not, then I've been believing in the same presumption for years :p

Alright, firstly I want to thank everybody for their submissions, we really appreciate your efforts :)

Secondly, the goal of this contest was to generate new images so those were given preference.

We decided that both Puck and Corporal Nobbs deserved first prize so they will both receive the signed copy of Revolvo and a t-shirt. PM Hetan with your mailing address and t-shirt size (if in doubt, go one size up as they are on the small side, especially after laundering)

Grimhilde, if and when you produce those sketches you mentioned, we'd be happy to send you a t-shirt as well :p

Thanks again everybody and stay tuned for the next contest :p
