I worked with a guy who owned every Shatner record and thought they were great...he claimed it was in a post modern ironic type of way...but I haz my doubts. Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds is particularly moving (if you are constipated ).

I actually did like some of the songs. They were campy, and kinda fun. Nimoy can actually sing though. I don't know who said it, but Bilbo Baggins is one of my favorite songs.
