Me: You bring Kaschan into the infirmary after all the checks, you declare him with a full bill of health.
Ampelas:Interesting. So does that mean if I were to bring a Klingon into the infirmary I'd know?
Me: If I really wanted to make this game nasty I would have added a chanceof being a finder also, but in this game you're just a healer. I'mtrying to add a bit of flavour that all.
Ampelas: Ah, OK. Well, here's a little speculation on how this game is working:there's a system of poison counters in play (injuries?). I'm basingthis off the opening scene, during which several people were injured.Perhaps this gives them reduced abilities? And then I can remove allthe damage they've taken by healing them. But for that to work, there'dhave to be some scum who have to hit a player twice to killthem...seems unbalanced, unless there were a lot of scum. Or they couldaffect multiple people at once...
(Note to self next time we have replicators damaged they get food poisoning instead lol)
Me: I can't really confirm or deny your suspicion.
Ampelas: Not expecting you to. Just figured I'd throw it out there so that ifI'm right I get to say "I told you so!" later. And if I'm wrong...well,noone remembers if you're wrong about something like that in a post toSH

.
Seems a little lonely on thread right now...guess that's because it'sthe weekend. I'll try and do some re-reading in between watching allthe TV I've just been downloading.
Me: If you're wrong it may be a new mechanic to think of lol.
Just the discussion of TNG has me thinking of maybe a 6 team merc game based on star trek lol.
Ampelas:
Yeah, I'll have to indulge in some blue-sky thinking. I'm hopingsomeone will have had something interesting happen to them at nightthat they can add to the discussion with.
Unfortunately I'm not much of a Trekkie, so I won't be able to discussit much with you. From what I know of the franchise though, it'd beripe for some kind of Merc type game...
