Hehheh.hehehe. I remember checking people trying to be all badass and do stuff like that with the shield. Good times watching them rebound at the same speed backwards all corpsified and rag-dolly.

1st tribes has been updated for various new-system compatibility. But there's almost no one to play with, so its kinda just dead. Could get up to 4-500kph or more, made for some ridiculous shit and all sorts of fetid nerd rage and complaining.

I think a Chasind origin would just be substituting one flawed origin for another though - there's hardly any mention of them in the game at all, just like the dalish tribe 'you' come from. Definitely wouldn't mind their addition to the game though, since I would think they'd be fleeing the darkspawn too. Cool DLC idea though: some chasind tribes flee into ferelden and start attacking the other humans and you can stop/slaughter/ally with them and all. Add in some good dialog and some stuff about Morrigan/Flemeth and it might just be a winner.

what they had in mind but cut from retail wasn't for chasind but some tribes in frostback mountains - different stuff than the guys from korcari wilds. could make for a nice future DLC if they added new Origins imo.

Does anyone know of any mods that add more grenades? I was thinking I'd try a alchemisty-type character... but there's only 4 bombs. Plenty of poisons, but 4 pretty lame bombs :o

Yeah, I'd actually be happier with a Chasind origin than a Dalish one. Seriously comparing the Elves and the Dwarf ones... you can tell which the devs obviously favoured.
The entire Dalish recruitment can be rolled within an hour. It makes it a few more minutes longer if you were tracking down Juggernaught...

@Jusen, not that many good mods out there at this stage. Best one so far by far is HD Textures.

You could probably do that with about 15 other threads also. Pretty much any time someone says anything about Oblivion, which causes Silencer to go into a 500 word rant about his extreme hated for said game.Posted Image

I like Oblivion! I played it for like six months straight, and had almost 1000 saves on my Xbox. XD
Then I purchased the game again for PC. :D

It's just...not as good as Morrowind. *restrains self*

That Kolgrim Andraste Dragon stuff? I kept his horn, because I got my ass handed to me since I took him on too early on in the game.

Still waiting for that chance to kill him and Flemeth.

This game is sooo awesome. I sit down to play it and literally an hour will pass but it feels like 20-30 minutes.

Killed the dragon on the mountain top after the second try, it was cool. Just had both mages healing (with tactics set to restore mana when low) while Shale and my main warrior went to work. I didn't even need to use a health poltice on them. Just had so many mana potions and greater fire resist things. Loot was cool too.

Having Shale w/ Fire Armor makes the dragon a hell of a lot easier. The only thing is that if Shale gets the final hit its rather anti-climatic. Thump, down he goes...

apparently they forgot to add any sync kills that work with his model. Very upsetting.

Couple kewls mods I thought I'd mention here: More blood mage badassery, New shapeshifter forms, (a bit buggy if you've got other mods, but variety = good) and sexy forced sync kills because everyone likes a good decapitation.

yeah this is what happened to me. Oh well, once I beat the game I will replay it soon as a different character so... I'll be back /arnold.

So apparently if you register your game on the bioware social community they send you free stuff once in a whil (If you register before the 30th, you get a weapon called The Edge). I saw this on one of my xbox sites and they were quoting from Bioware emails so it is legit asaik. As well as cool stat tracking and info about stuff going on within your game. I had an account thanks to Silencer, so I need to search around and see what cool stuff there is.

Sadly, all the stuff they're offering seems to be pieces of the various pre-order/collectors packages. :D I want new stuff!
