On the 360 you have to type in the code, at which point you think you have it but don't. Then go to it and confirm download and it will install it. Many people have had issues with the dlc like this, but they're easily resolved.

I like the Dragon Armor, bujjt am actually looking forward to playing a non-fighter next so as not to be tempted by it, it almost seems like cheating. The moon rock sword is sweet!

that's also some DLC... collectors edition only I think? Is the Dragon Armor available from the start to equip on a 360? Cause on PC, by the time I had a character with 38 strength, I had the Sexy Silver Juggernaut armor and that very nice dragonbone medium cuirass of-unknown-name which has better stats, so it wasn't really impressive at all.

Of course, Arcane warrior + full set of BD armor and the fatigue reducing helm/cowl = winz. Just wish I hadn't taken mostly primal spells, cause they can't be cast with a sword/shield drawn.

the moon rock sword is dlc, yes. I merchant will give you a piece of moonrock, you give it to the smith that hangs out at soldier's point.

I can't find the main piece of the juggernaut armor. Oh well, I happen to like the dragon armor.

Its in the ruins, Its behind a locked door on the NW (i think) side. You have to do a thing with a pool of water and an altar to get the door to open.

I think its pretty cheesy lookin though. All bright and shiny.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

damn you people are fast with your playing... I'm currently on the last of the 'gather your army' quests (saved the dwarfs for that one) and I am actually going to do a bit of blasphemy and say that I'm quite tired of running through the tunnels dicing and slicing everything in there to death. Not enough talking, not enough progress, too much of the same boring scenery (tunnels, spiders, darkspawn, ghosts). It is the first time in the game where I am not taking every single side tunnel and clearing them, but rather trying to find the fastest way through.

Also, I think I may have ruined my upcoming rogue play-through by going for a dual wielding warrior, who is every bit as mean as a melee rogue and wears plate (ok, so less backstab damage). Bit of a downside of the way they created the talents, I think.

I don't work and my kids like watching me play... so....

the game does pick up though. I think they might have done well to have one less rally-the-allies mission, or maybe only allow you to do 3 out of 4, or something.

your kids? what age are they cause this game is bloody :killingme:

@tapper - shame on me but after the bit in the fade where i had no spells or healing kits i dropped the difficulty to casual and am actually enjoying it just as much as most of the stupid wee battles go by with no problems. i have two main healers and two melee fighters so was clearing out most things before that with ease anyway, now its just quicker and less annoying. The best part of the game though is the scenarios. i love screwing people over or persudaing them to do ridicuous things (like kill their kids or give me a family heirloom ;) )

What sort of group are most of you rolling with? I'm going 2 fighters (me and shale,) the rogue girl for archer support and her chest opening skills, and the healer lady from the circle of mages. It's working well.

I'm curious if I'm going to ever get more people than what I have or if I'm maxed out.

Exactly that! My main char is very much a sword and shield defensive type, so I don't know if shale is the best choice for the other melee, but her skills are just so much fun!

i use myself, alistar, wynne and morrigan. the two ladies are good healers while still being effective at butchering vast number of beasties from distance. My character is a rogue and uses heavy armour so i send in alistar to get their attention then sneak round behind and gut the darkspawn ;) works great.

one problem i have with he game and its my own impatience is that at times (mages tower for example) its very very dialogue heavy and i skip it and miss vital stuff. Sometimes i would like slightly more notification to updates to my quests.

I'm curious if I'm going to ever get more people than what I have or if I'm maxed out.

Depending on what I expect:

the tough dungeon crawler: my dps-warrior, Alistair for tanking (and the disable magic trick).
Th remaining two are chosen from Liliana (for boxes and traps), Morrigan (who does heal as well as nuke now and is very amusing combined with Alistair)and Whinge the Geriatric Healer.
For city based missions, I use just about every single team since you can switch parties any time you like.

On normal difficulty (let alone higher...) Whinge or sorc babe is mandatory, I can't take on orange bosses without a dedicated healer and live, at the least not without a gazillion highest level health pots and tactic #1 programmed for everyone:

Health < 75% -> use most powerful poultice.

Since I am a miser who rather spends his gold on weaponry and the Knights I need for my armies, I seldom buy pots or travel for mats. I'm going through the dwarven tunnels right now with my warrior, Ohgren, Liliana and Wynne atm - so far only haven't used the golem in a group, and stopped using the dog the second I got Sten. I stopped using Sten when I came across Zevran. I stopped using Zevran when I met Wynne.... which was literally three minutes later or so iirc.

2ish. I'm sure they will be fine with it, cause, bloody though it may be, it isn't a creepy game until you can understand the dialog for what it means. Crazy dwarf lady anyone?

I rolls with my primal/Blood mage + regular healing tree spells, and Morrigan with full shapeshifter/Blood/Entropy. And alistair and Leliana. No need for Winge at all. hell, after level 16, except against Ser Shall-not-be-named and her coterie of asskickers, I probably coulda won most fights with just morrigan. Spikey bear + overwhelm + self-healing swarm = win. Playing on hard too.

But you absolutely cannot beat blood magic for crowd control, putting out 2 AoE paralytic spells makes it too easy.

I've actually started again as a healer/primal combo mage, just so I don;'t have to have Wynne in the party. Dont' get me wrong, she's nice and all, just... boring.

Having replacement mages helps :killingme: Although I am perfectly willing to accept that I haven't played a very efficient game so far.

Tapper, still wondering how the hell that dwarf in the Proving Grounds soaked up so much damage.

I use my warrior tank, Leliana for backstab, Starfox (named after my own dog who I miss so very very much since moving to uni) mainly cuz of Dread Howl, and whichever caster works best at a given time. Normally I would use Morrigan, cuz she can heal AND kick ass, but atm I'm doing the Fade missions, and Wynne is mandatory.

Ha. try fighting those battles with a mage. Seemed like every other spell I threw out had no effect, reduced effect, or barely dented his health bar, even when they hit for 70+ damage.
