True a hedgehog just doesn't have the same threat level as a Puma.
As I've always said, the problem here is that the density of fans isn't high enough. Our country is big, that we seldom bother to go see one another. Though we often go to other countries for vacation.

Dammit man, I'm working on these things. Let me get our English cousins out of the way.

I suggest we start planning a Canuck Malaz meeting in Montreal sometime in summer 2010.

Don't worry, Ano's done the same whenever a Malaz meet up was called.

Montreal in 2010. Sounds good to me.

I', still not convinced you actually exist, SM. Every time we're due at the same event, one of us seems to pull out. We could well be the same schizophrenic person. I expect you at the Manky meet up. Which reminds me, I need to find a place to crash. Why has Brood selfishly moved away?

He definitely exists, unless I was talking to myself in Fab on Saturday, actually that would explain why that crazy woman kept tugging at my sleeve while I was doing it.

No he's definitely real, a figment of my imagination wouldn't have such a natty line in jumpers.

The reason she was tugging on your sleeve was because it was her birthday, she was very drunk and I think she rather fancied you and wanted an introduction.

Oh, and I was very real the last time I checked... Hang on... Nope, still here :unworthy:
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. Shaddup yo face. You're just fortunate to live in the obvious meet-up zone.

Provided this is on a weekend I can already (with 75% assurity) say I'll be free to go. It'll be a matter of catching a flight Friday morning and returning Sunday afternoon. The only way this wouldn't be the case is if I somehow lost my current job sometime between now and May. It also helps this time around that the more active Canuck members aren't underage and can thus travel mostly hassle free.
And so the First denied their Mother,
in their fury, and so were cast out,
doomed children of Mother Dark.

I'll just go and mention that the one I called in 2008 had nothing but malazans of age reporting they'd be there.
In fact I'm not aware of anyone of the potential group being underage at that time.
Maybe you can carpool with CF?

Perhaps I'm thinking of earlier discussed meet-ups when Lady A and the like were still present. At any rate I would fly just to avoid that 12-14 hour drive.

Wow, then yes that was a long while ago. Even you would have been underage at the time.
I meant last year during the 400th celebrations. A lot of people said they'd seriously consider it.
Only CF and K'orladis stopped by, and not at the same time.

It would be ludicrous for me to even attempt to commit to anything, but if you do this in Mtl on a weekend it is not unthinkable that i'll make it.

Abyss would finally shatter the enigma and reveal himself to his followers? This is a momentous occasion.

Of course not.
Abyss is even more reclusive, than I am.
May I also add, not as subtle as myself though. But far more hautain and sheepish and also he smells... "Interesting" (like "special" means retarded).

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Oh, it's going to be an epic couple of malazan months. The Manky meetup, Tremmy coming to London, and you to our sceptered isle in general, quite the package.

Don't worry, we'll school you in the ways of our glorious nation so you don't end up in some horribly awkward social situation, or get stabbed by chavs. Or, horror of horrors, end up in Scotland.

Hey... best nights out ever happen in scotland... i dont know where i'll be in dec but def think scotland is cool.... if you go out to see how drunk you can get.

if i'm not there for the manc(cringe being a kop supporter) meet up i think a one or 2 drink drinking get together(no winner tb:)) will be fun. what do you think?

Booked. Terrifying.

I land at London Gatwick at noon on November 18th. I'm then staying a little hotel in Croydon until Sunday November 21st. I'll be exploring London in that time.

Then I still have to determine where to go after that.

I'll be in Manchester probably a few days before the Malaz meetup.

So give me a shout if I can crash on your premises and when and where!

Super excited!

Croydon? Oh you poor bastard. I'm sure I said don't go south of the river, if I didn't, I apologise sincerely. It's full of south londoners, you know. They lack the refined elegance and class we north of the river have.

I shall pencil the dates in my diary. Yes, diary.

Croydon: Good, cheap base to use to check out London. Just don't judge us all by the Croydonese and keep an eye out for the Croydon Facelift hairstyle!
