It caught up with him now, and there was no place to rest or sit. He slowed down, felt the blood vessels pop, first in the barely healed scabs on his wounded hand, then blood streaming from nose and eyes, until finally, something went kaboom in the back of his skull and all the pain ended.

Only had a certain amount of time before he died? Cos that how it reads to me. Who was he in the scenes as that doesn't really help.

Let's just say that we're (and that means both mods) had some problems with the exact resolution of a complex ability - I had to make a tough choice when I saw what had happened this morning.

i think i will leave figuring that out until the spoilers as if the mods are confused by it, we definitely will be. will put it down to ruse killed him to make a play for the merc win and leave it at that.
