Hi folks, another lurker here as my name might suggest. I have enjoyed following the forum for some time and decided to finally sign up and post.

After the debacle of this year's cage match, I've been convinced to finally join these forums. Hello, everyone. ;)

Welcome
HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

You'll love the reread, I read GotM then forgot about it, then came back and reread it upon purchasing Deadhouse gates, rereading it after a break made me appreciate GotM a whole lot more than my first time through

Welcome.

Was very much the same for me, on the reread of GOTM, I found I was more easily able to appreciate its awesomeness. Gone was the confusion of the first read, replaced with overwhelming "hell yes!"
Laseen did nothing wrong.

I demand Telorast & Curdle plushies.

Hey, total newbie here, very excited to have nine books ahead of me. GoM is mind-blowing but I am doing fine with it. A very intense reading experience!

And you're not complaining, you're criticizing. It's a side-effect of being better than everyone else, I get it sometimes too.

Finally plucked up the courage to create an account! I have always been a fan of fantasy novels, written by those such as GRRM, Joe Abercombie, Patrick Rothfuss and Scott Lynch. I'm only 17 and at last Steven Erikson thankfully caught my eye, anyway..great to be here! I am currently reading House of Chains, series is fantastic, LOVE IT ^_^

Hello, I'm new to the forums.

Have read all of The Book of the Fallen series and have to say, it is by far my favorite series...ever. I've never finished a series so long and immediately thought " I want to start it again". I've currently just started Return of the Crimson Guard and after I finish Esslemont's books I may reread the others.

Hope to have a long and happy forum life here,

RetiredTalon

Signed up a while back to peruse the forums, no activity until now. Probably because I just finished my last day of my last college course haha.

Congratulations! It's probably for the best you held off posting, the forum is a greater eater of time once you get into it!

^This.
The forum went down last weekend. Abyss almost had a breakdown. As did many others. So yeah, it eats your time majorly and you can get addicted to it.

I was explaining the risks. I never mentioned the rewards of time wasting and procrastination, or the epicness known as Mafia or the one known as Chat.Posted Image

Yo.
