I know when I was noob, I read the inn but didn't post there. Once I finished the books and had talked about them a bit, I gravitated to the inn for the fun times. Now, I think it's imortant to have a balanced diet of both.

I don't know why I didn't think to look for a community like this as soon as I started reading the GotM! I just finished Bonehunters and the Malazan Book of the Fallen is officially the best fantasy series I have ever read, and quite possibly the greatest work of fiction I have ever read as well. I don't think I need to elaborate any more than that lol...

However I also wanted to make sure that I'm not stepping on anybody's heels with my name; I tried Jen'isand Rul and it said the name was already taken or was typed incorrectly, so yeah... If there's already a wanderer out there, I'll change my name:p

Hey there everyone in the empire. loving this site.. its just what i needed. finished Reapers gale last year and painfully waiting for toll the hounds to hit Aussy shores (everything takes sooo long to get here it shits me!) . love the series got me back into books again. also into S.Donaldsons work aswell. i didnt know bout this spot.. got some postings elsewhere im totally new to all this shit.. anyways any pointers? like why i cant put pictures on my name and when do i lose my recruit status or can i change that already?

There's an option in User CP where you can add or change an avatar. There's some limitations though. The picture has to be in jpeg format and it can't be too big an image.

You recruit status is determined by how many posts or how much reputation you get I think. Can't quite remember. But you can change it yourself.

Choose Edit Details in your User CP and type your new title in this box
