What happened to Lorn's sword?

Erikson admitted that he forgot about it, but that it will make a reappearance.

Tavore has her own sword… She does not need to take her brother’s!

this is a thread in the MoI forum isn’t it?

no worries Kalessin, nothing serious from House of Chains can be discussed in this topic here. But yes...this sword is a problem because as stated by Erikson he forgot about it when he wrote Memories of Ice. Besides I don't see Paran using this sword anymore. It was stated in MoI by the healer of the BB's squad, Mallet was it, that Paran is very close to becoming an ascendant, wether he is going to become one or not is a whole other debate. Hence someone using magic would really rather stay away from something that negates the effects of magic. Unless ofcourse whatever power Ganoes has or is in the process of having could fall into "elder magic" then the sword should pose no problem for him.

I mean that no-one knows what all the effects of otataral are on humans
For instance Adjunct Lorn' ability to heal quickly was due to the otataral's affects on her.
With regards to it's effect on the Azath, although Rallick sat on the Finnest house and stopped it growing for a brief period, when it needed to grow.. it grew! Threw him off IIRC.

He just changed the colour, right? Is that a problem?

Paran can use Azath derived "magic" and wield the O Sword imo

Personally I don’t think there was any real damage done regarding the editing of Boo’s post, but I agree with Hetan that info presented publicly by SE in his interviews cannot be taken as spoiler…
Any fan of MBOTF can read it right? Regardless of where in the series he or she has read up to.
My real problem now is that it seems that I am not aware of the specific interview that SE is saying the aforementioned horrid thing about Whiskeyjack…(Come on man…wasn’t killing him enough?)
Any directions on where can I find and read this interview?

Another thing to remember about otatarel is that the Empire is somewhat secretive about it, it doesnt want to let the cat out of the bag so to speak. Imagine the Segulah (who arent major world players, mostly because they are subject to Sorcery without any of their own) outfitting a army with Otatarel swords. For the same reason you would never outfit too many people with otatarel, those objects would fall into the wrong hands, negating both the Mages and Claw of the Empire to some large degree.
Begs the question though, what is the Empire doing with all of the stuff they have pulled out of those mines?
Whatever anybody sais, no-limit is 80% luck.

That Whiskeyjack won't, or someone named Whiskeyjack won't?
E.g., one can argue that Dancer hasn't made an appearance so far in the books...

To Hetan: Yes indeed… but what do you mean? That the magic deadening effect of otataral is blunted by that fact?
I thought that the side effects flowed from ore to human and not the other way around!
WARNING POSSIBLE SPOILER !!! - ???
I was also under the impression that Karsa’s indifference to magic was born of something similar if not the same…
Jeez...I am pre-editing my own posts...

If there were too many of them they could fall into the wrong hands.

I sort of got the impression in HoC that Tavore's sword was enough to protect the whole army. Maybe one sword has a large sphere of influence.

It's been discussed. You would negate your own mages at the same time. Not good.

For clarification, in which forum are we actually allowed to talk about SE's interviews?
