That's a sad story. Next time you tell it weave in a bear or two to spice things up.

Are we going to arm wrestle in Manchester?

We can do, but we do it old school: naked whilst working a cotton loom with the other hand and chewing coal, and that's just against Mezla, if you get past her then we'll talk.

Suddenly it's all become a bit complicated at work, and I no longer have any idea if I can get the weekend off. I want to hit someone right now, I'm seriously pissed off about the whole debacle  :D :D :p ;) :D

Do you want me to pop round and have a word with them? I could offer to withdraw my custom from Waterstones, given the number of books I buy off them each month they're bound to notice... ;)

If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. No, that cannot happen!!! :D A Malazan meetup without you would be like... dividing by zero! You would doom us all!!!

Just provide me with right names and addresses and I shall unleash my poodles... that should sort things out.
The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues.

I probably will, it's occurred to me I pretty much have no plans in place beyond "I'm going to Manchester Saturday!" Would that be acceptable? I primise not to steal the cutlery

No probs. Just bring clothes to wear the following day and Mancunian hospitality will sort out the rest....... So that's a fractured skull and only one shoe you will be going home with!

Panic averted, weekend is free! It's gonna be hilarious, timing-wise, but I guess I could just not sleep, that'll be fine ;)
