I think you have to remove vote ano...

And Korv? Really? I suppose that creates an interesting split to see where the other voters go, but I think Korv is a bit of a waste. He's crazy, but I don't see why he's particularily scummy.

Damn, I think he left and he didn't actually change his vote properly.

Or maybe it's a clever ploy. I don't like how Ano seems convinced about voting GL, and then throws in on Korv instead (without properly changing votes). There's something screwy about that.

It is Day 2. 4 hours and 2 minutes remaining

12 Players still alive: Anomandaris, D'riss, Eloth, Emurlahn, Galain, Galayn Lord, Hood's Path, Kessobahn, Korvalain, Rashan, Ruse, Serc

7 votes to lynch, 6 votes to go to night

2 votes for Korvalain: ( Emurlahn, Hood's Path )
3 votes for Galain: ( Kessobahn, Eloth, D'riss )
1 vote for Galayn Lord: ( Anomandaris )
1 vote for Ruse: ( Korvalain )

Players not voted: Galain, Galayn Lord, Rashan, Ruse, Serc

Morgy may be more loose, but IMO not removing your vote means you haven't changed your vote.
Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

Good morning people.

My home phone lines got knocked out in a storm yesterday afternoon, so I'm a little bit internetless at the moment. I will try make a plan, but be warned that I may not be on much from a couple of hours from now. Back to the game at hand.

Korv and HP's pissing contest was pretty annoying, since they were really just screaming the same point at each other over and over. It's not the first time Korv has picked a fight with someone. I'm not sure if he's just naturally belligerent or if he's trying to be distracting.

I see there's three votes against me, dont really know how I'm supposed to defend against the reasons given for a vote right now.

I'm around briefly, so allow me to explain:

It may be a product of erratic post times, but your contribution has amounted to summary posts such as this. I suppose that making a solid case on someone would erase said suspicion.

I know what you're dealing with, though--seems like whenever I log on there's maybe 1 other anon online.

Except now I'm the only anon. Nice hit n' run pal.

edit: off to do a reread I guess.

I've looked between Korvalain and Galain.

Korvalain, both from meta and this game, likes to get into pissing contests and often discards logic while pissing. I dislike meta arguments, but they're largely unavoidable. Consequently, given that he always plays like this, I see no reason to lynch him just for stirring things up.

But let's look at Galain:

-Ano (I think it was him) made a case earlier that highlighted how the bulk of Galain's posts are announcing to the world that he is present, but he has done little else in the way of posting. Again, this may be the result of erratic posting times; nonetheless, this is something to consider. I dislike the idea of lynching someone for non-contribution this early--but let's face it, most of us are waiting for night to resolve so we can get some closure on this no-NK incident. Therefore, lynching someone who will most likely be a dead weight through the rest of the game seems like a decent option.

But I don't want to rehash Ano's arguments.

He has, as also mentioned before, made a retardedly long (and perhaps over-reactionary) case on Eloth that accuses him of the same non-contribution that he is accused of. Pot calling the kettle black, much?

But once again, I'm rehashing someone else's arguments.

So I'm sitting here, looking for a viable, legitimate scummy reason to vote Galain...and then I realized:

Every fucking post this guy makes is middle of the road. He doesn't really antagonize anyone; he's essentially shrugged off/ignored the case against him only to immediately disappear. He's just now claimed that, in a couple hours, he'll be gone for a while.

Only he's been gone since 15 minutes after that post.

We have, imo, jack shit to work with today. I want to see the night resolve in hopes that either:
a.) We'll have a useful CF on Galain
b.) We'll have a useful CF on someone killed
c.) We won't have any kills and a guard can finger hopefully finger a scum
d.) We'll have only 1 NK, for which I think it is more likely that the SK made a kill and our guard has a scum to finger

Vote Galain

I haven't disappeared, but I am at work so I cant wait around and push F5 every two seconds on the off chance someone decides to log in - I was the only one online so I did a bit of work. Not replying within 2 minutes of something being posted is different from a hit and run. As for being gone for a while, it's not something I have much control over. I will try get it sorted out, but I am giving enough warning so I dont get accused of exactly what you're accusing me of now...

I dont think I have played a game anything like Eloth's. Yes, I lot of my posts start with some sort of announcement of my return, but that's almost always followed by sort sort of thought on what is happening. I suppose my viewpoints might be middle of the road, but that's how I always play. I'm level-headed and dont like to antagonise people unless I have something to go on. Most of my posts are related to the game though, not jokes and one-line statements.

And I dont see how I shrugged of the case against me and then immediately disappeared? I responded to it when it was made. I responded to it again a couple of hours later. Now I'm responding to it again.

I'm afraid that's all I can do for you folks... hopefully someone will be around to resolve the end of day business.

You're summarizing; that makes up most of your posts.

The issue is that you "contribute" a lot by talking about the game--but that contribution doesn't add to the discussion. Granted, I'm not adding anything either in this particular debate, but everything against you has already been laid on the table.

And, as evident in that quote, you say,

"Oh, I have the most votes? Oh well. What can I do?"

...But it's all a moot point anyway. Chances are day will time out without a lynch.

I'm back. Prepared to change, but I'm not voting Korv for his pissing contest. As unpleasant as his attitude is, I also feel that claiming ridiculously unlikely coincidences of events is playing BCS, which is stupid. Perhaps it's just being stubborn, but he's taking it to extremes.

What discussion? Other than a bit of a pissing contest every now and again, nothing has happened this game. Where I could I have added my my 2 cents, but there's very little to actually have an opinion on. When can the SK kill - we dont know. How many scum are there? One or two, possibly with a symp. The case against me is the first serious thing that's happened really and I essentially have to defend against the fact that I dont play like an ass. "What can I do?" is exactly how I feel right now.

The problem sadly is that I may not be able to be here at the end of the day. It all depends on when Sarah's plane arrives

as if by magic.

vote korvalain

much as i dislike the 'case' by galain, what i dislike most so far is the goodkind post, the attacking of supposedly non contributing players, and an assertation that spamming the thread is better than actually trying to just play the game. Also korvalain is exhibiting what i would describe as classic scum tactics.

1 - he is loud and brash and using preconceptions to avoid suspicion.
2 - he announces intention on thread to cover what would otherwise be fishy
3 - he only engages in proper discussion when challenged.
4 - he targets those players he beleieves wont respond (case in point hp and ruse)

actual stand out moments - makign a case on ruse which is essentially he is a low poster and doing the same on hp. responding to a quote by GL with an equally cryptic response.

ruse vote

hp case

discussing guard reveals

Towards the end says he will take hp out - possible slip

accusations but no votes

more tactics for the guard, but possibly another slip to reveal sk status as he is quite definite the sk attacked last night

scum tactic 101 - announce a crusade against low posters to avoid having to do anything hard

pointing out possible codes (though in response to a question about them) if symp signallign possible targets to master

first person to mention the serial killer
