I'd like to add that D'riss mentioned he'd play after he got home from work. That was 14 hours ago, so unless he's working 14 hour days, he hasn't bothered to come back. His most content-full post was when he said he wasn't sure why I was all riled up about Eloth back on day 1.

I'm tempted to change my vote to D'riss, although my dislike for him amounts to the same thing as what I've already posted about Galain. Cruising with nothing to say. D'riss isn't as polite, is the only difference.

from reading the thread (skimming the pissing contest and the badkind quotes), Korv has SYMP tatooed on his face in foot-long letters. if nothing betters comes up, i'd be happy to vote him off.

aside from that, need to go take a quick look at the Bargy train--something no one here seems to have done yet.

Bargy may be being over-defensive but to me it's not to the degree to necessitate a vote. However, the whole removing vote in case he wouldn't be back for deadline after only a handful of hours of day 1 does seem to me like he was possibly setting himself up to lurk day 1 and miss the lynch if he had reason - something that seems rather scummy to me. he can say that he didn't realize how much time is left, but this wasn't very far into day, without actually gouing and checking he shouldve known there was at least 20-some hours left and likely much more. to be honest, the only votes in this train that follow any reasoning, no matter how faulty, appear to be Korvalain, Eloth and Anomandaris.

Ruse and HP provide drivebys (" the case sounds good" and "I thought he might be scum", whilst Galain, Rashan and, I suppose, Serc, all use the "we need to get a lynch"--which, whilst true, is the most convenient scum excuse ever.

he's the one low-poster who hasn't been dragged to light yet. his posts are all carefully non-committal, and he appears to be flying below everyone's radar, whilst the other low-posting players (Ruse, Serc, myself, and, untill recently, HP) get constantly reamed at for nopt participating.

I've had about 3 hours of drunken stupor that barely passes for sleep in the last almost 40 hours, i've consumed excessime amount of booze last night, and i've worked 9-hour shifts on both those days in the sun that singed the skin but was nowhere near warm enough.

I'm exhausted and i'm going to bed. i'll be back in about 8 hours for an hour before work, and I will cast my vote then.

Anomandaris' vote would appear to be the tipping point, except that Galain doesn't add the next vote until quite a few hours later.

HP's drive by is suspect in its nature (and lame explanation) but he does it near the end so the timing isn't terribly suspicious.

I'm not getting any major scumdar pings from that train to be honest.

I kind of agree with Driss that keeping the SK around is useful in that it stops the scum from winning, but you have to remember it doubles the number of kills per night and the SK will be much harder to spot. We have conversations like this every game though, and they're usually a moot issue, it's so rare to out two different types of scum on the same day.

if you read the rules the serial killer acts every other night. given feners demise before the game started i doubt they can strike tonight.

I looked at Rashan earlier, back when I was building my quote post on Galain, and this is why he didn't strike me initially as looking suspicious. He actually bothered to point a finger early on. The rest of his posts are pretty non-committal though.

K. Rash seems suspicious because he has remained very hidden and out of my (and D'riss's) conscious. If he's scum, then that's what he wants. If he's inno, the only thing bad about that for him is that it makes him seem a bit scummy (because hiding is good for scum). However, other then that there's no reason why he wouldn't want to be hidden as scum. Additionally, I don't think he's really doing it on purpose, it's just the way the game's going.

Okay I went back and re-read, and I don't want to vote Galain because sure there were hours between my Barg vote and his, he wasn't online for much of that. The only person who was online for much of that and didn't vote for either Barg or GL, the two candidates with more than a vote, was GL. He was online all that time but not only didn't vote back at anyone on his train, but didn't vote for Barg either, even when there was only a couple hours left and Barg was still at L-3.

It was mostly for what I believe to be an over-reaction on his part to my accusations about him disappearing, but this adds some tasty icing to that cake.

Hmm, I can see what you're saying about the quote-posts-pressure, Kesso. I don't like it over my GL case, but I'm practical enough to realize that one's not going to fly today. Since I need to get to bed, I'm going to put my vote onto Korv, since I think the Galain case could benefit from some more time for analysis. Meanwhile Korv is spamming goodkind only to get his post count up so he can have a holier-than-thou tirade against low-posters on day 2. I can agree somewhat with the motive, but the manner of his accusations I do not approve of.
