The road is eerily silent, save for the constant, faint sound of chanting in the distance. To what foul god in what forsaken warren the chanted belonged, nobody knew.

There was some bickering throughout the day, but mostly it was exasperated in tone. Nobody seemed eager to participate and, in the end, one person was angrily grabbed by the others and hung from a withered and gnarled tree. Crows eagerly awaited for his body to stop its futile twitching.

Barghast (Mappo's Travelling Sack) was lynched. He was a member of the town.

A loud crash awakens you from your slumber! The darkness of night is waning unto day. The chanting appears to have subsided for now. You look around at your comrades and begin to count their number... one person is missing. You begin to rouse everyone and alert them at the missing person. As people angrily rise and discuss who would have killed the individual, he comes out from behind a tree and smiles. "Sorry, fellers, had to take a leak..."

People groan over the false alarm, but you can sense some joy at not having any missing people today.

Huh? Does this game have instant night or something? The first post states that it's 0 hours, so...

Either the killers withheld (haha yeah right) or they targeted Barghast and left. Well that's a lucky break, I suppose.

edit: or other NA's. I'm a retard.

Yes he is. There was no NK.

OK, so we have a guard then. Cool. I was thinking this was a simpler game from reading Morgy's roles post.

That would suggest that we only have 1 killer. Healer maybe, but that's extraordinary luck.

Not 0 hour nights it seems, so everyone must have had provisionals in. Which makes the lack of NK very interesting... It might be a healer or guard got lucky. Obviously healers should never reveal and we have the numbers for the guard to take another night or two to confirm they did in fact block scum.

Now having read it again:
All roles holding a complexity less than that of a cult or FM may be present.
It makes sense.

I easiest explanation is that the SK and Killers hit the same person who was guarded.
A slightly harder explanation is that the Killers hit someone who was healed and the SK was guarded.
A more complex situation involves BP's, orgies, and dragonsex.

HEALER AND GUARD DO NOT COME FORWARD.

If SK is every other night it might not start killing until Night 2. That's what I assumed, anyway.

I would hesitate to suggest that the guard guard the same person tonight as he/she/it did last night, and then again a third night.

I figure since hte SK attempted to kill last night he/she/it cannot kill until night 3, right? Which means we find out on night 3 if we have the killers caught or the SK caught.

Why would you assume that?

Dont really see how the first would work.

I would think it's reasonably likely the SK couldnt strike tonight and either a single killer was guarded or Paired killers hit a heal or BP.

Why would you assume that?

Most games I can recall with such a mechanic did not allow the killer that ability until the second night.

I think it was Obdi's paper game--the desk fan didn't get a kill until the second night, I believe.
