I don't think this will be a problem....I am pretty sure if we do it at 1:00 am (GMT+1), I think that will be 11:00 am in Sydney.....It would be midnight GMT ...which would make it 7:00 pm EST (for Hoosier and me) and 6:00 pm for TB....the only issue is, if we do it on "our" Saturday the 5th, that would make it Sunday the 6th for the Aussies, so is that ok with them, or if not, could the rest of the world , have theirs on Friday the 4th, so the aussies could still join in.

Again, I don't think this will be a problem, but the initial contest was going to be kept to a reasonable number, might have to cut off sign-ups now.

Hey MTS, what time zone are you in? cause, sunday is a no go for you unless you live in aussie land, I thought you were in america, so looks like either friday night or saturday

I dont know how early the Aussies are willing to drink, but I would really appreciate it if it could be as early as possible. Midnight GMT is slightly better than 01:00 GMT - if that's 10:00 I dont think it can get much earlier than that though.

I could go earlier, maybe 8-9 - like I said, I'm up anyway - but I doubt others will be as amenable

thats cool...so we say midnight GMT+1..... sunday morning.....that would make it 6 pm saturday est for me and HD...and 5 pm for TB saturday

That would be awesome, as it's then 1am here. I understand I seem to be in a minority here (Where are all the GMT people?) so if all the Aussies insist on later it's ok.
