Yep, it's _always_ to-mah-toe in British English.
It is perfectly monstrous the way people go about nowadays saying things against one, behind one's back, that are absolutely and entirely true.

Official pronunciations as per Erikson:
Malazan: Muh-LA(the "a" sounding like the a in "dad" or "mad")-zin
Tiste is "tist".
Edur is "eh-dur"
Jaghut: Silent 'h', pronounced Ja-goot with stress on the "Ja", with word falling off on completion (meaning t is not stressed whatsoever, but not quite silent)
K'Chain Che'Malle: K as in the letter, chain is obviously the same, Che as in Cheh, and Malle as in Hal.

K as in the letter, as in the name of the letter? KAY chain? that can't be right. i thought it was just a hard K sound, then the glottal stop. kuh-chain.
There's a fine line between genius and insanity. I have erased this line.

You're absolutely correct, my mistake when I typed that last night.

I ALSO have all my own pronunciations for things. But I won't bore you with them. Or mention that they are similar to Steel General's.
I will tell you my brother read all of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy reading the main character 'Ford Prefect' as 'Ford Perfect' - which kinda changes your perception of who the guy is. He was not old enough or British enough to know what a Ford brand 'Prefect' car was. Much more interesting story than my pronunciations.
*cough* Kroop, teest, Se-goo-lah, on-dee, ih-mass, bar-gast, jag-ut, Ma-LAY-zan */cough*

My younger brother recently began to read this epic saga that unites us all (he loved it), but something wierd happened and he pronounces some of the words in a contrary fashion to me. I was wondering if anybody could let me know how they read some of the words from the books?
KRUPPE
My brother pronounces his name like crup
Whereas I've always heard it as something like Cru ·PAY (Krup é)
TISTE
I've always heard this one as Tist · AY, but my brother just pronounces it Tist
TRYGALLE
I've always thought of it as Tri · gal, but its probably wrong :S
ANDII
My bro says And · EE
As opposed to my: And · EYE
DASSEM
Da · SEEM or DASS · em?
Thanks to anyone who could answer, and sorry if this is in the wrong place :S

Kruppe, for me = Krup, but with a slight rolling of the R for dramatic effect, at least when Kruppe is referring to himself in the third person.
Tiste I say as somewhere between Teest and Tist.
Trygalle I pronounce as Tr'gall
Andii I say as Andee, though the "ee" is sort of rising in inflection and clipped off early.
Dassem... somewhere between DASS-em and DAWSS-em.
Laseen did nothing wrong.
