Firstly,
Vote night.
Vote night.
"pseudoscience and superstition will seem year by year more tempting, the siren song of unreason more sonorous and attractive. Where have we heard it before? Whenever our ethnic or national prejudices are aroused, in times of scarcity, during challenges to national self-esteem or nerve, when we agonize about our diminished cosmic place and purpose, or when fanaticism is bubbling up around us – then, habits of thought familiar from ages past reach for the controls. The candle flame gutters. Its little pool of light trembles. Darkness gathers. The demons begin to stir." - Carl Sagan

cross post - i have been worried by bwgan all game. both she and shin are working hard not to ruffle feathers (which made that last vote of shins fairly odd as it was out of character for him to suddenly lead and complain about someone else leading too). there is also a difference between straight up questioning a reveal and doing so in a way that makes it seem like your not doing that.
I agree with the assessment that bent is most probably who he says he is. For scum to come out that early and risk a counter reveal or anything else seems far-fetched. I don't necessarily believe Morgoth is "inno" though, since he could be a symp.
And I don't think my vote was leading in any way. The way I saw it was I was picking up where I left off the day before.

Secondly, if I was a killer i'd have killed Bent night 1, and if I was an evil guard i'd have guarded Bent night 1. I was around and there was time.
And I think the idea that I might be partnered with Bent is laughable.
So why am I a good lynch?

And speaking of questions - dk where do you stand at the moment? You mentioned that voting night was a smart thing to do, but you're not doing it. And what do you think of Bent's reasoning a while back that you, obdi and dibs are PI?
I think its definitely something to think about.
Becasue not only does the suspect pool get smaller.
But pretty much any CF can give us info...and there is the ever so slight chance that the killer kills his own symp too.
edit - oh...forgot to answer all you questions.
Im not voting night because i would like to discuss it first....i would ike to discuss all our options first.

so you'd also rather get on with it today Morgo?
instead of thinning the "pool"...
If bent is telling the truth, which i have to think he is...then with your theory of there being two symps, how would that work with there being a evil guard about.
Would they be lover symps with one guard between them?
Or one plain symp and one guard symp...seems a bit...unlikely.

i have never seen a guard symp. if there is a guard they are going to cf scum surely?
I've had symp-guards in several of my games. It's hardly an unheard of concept and can easily be added instead of another killerfor balance's sake.
i mean that if an evil player is a guard they cf evil. i have never seen an evil guard cf as inno.

They didn't. I'm just pointing out all the ways I can't be guilty.
I think the worst I can be is a non-guard symp.

@Slick
that's true I guess. Morgoth could be his partner and his find "failing" on bwgan could be a ruse to muddy things. Or, it's also possible a guard didn't believe him and guarded him last night to see if a kill still went through. Not sure how smart that would be though.

If an innocent guard guarded Bent, they really should speak up.

he could have just voted obdi at the end there...but didnt.
Only thing is that perhaps bent and obdi are both killers...and he didnt want to go for obdi for obvious reasons.
and elected to try and go for the finder reveal and hope to at least get a counter reveal out of it...but didnt.
i mean this is all possible...sigh...
lynch obdi then?....fuck i dunno anymore.
I realy dont like bent professing how he thinks im inno its almost like he wants to get me on his side.
But i would think that bent and obdi would have been clever enough to get rid of morgo or dibs or myself simply because we are playing more agreesivley and would be harder to lynch....but tapper?
he hardly played.

It makes me nervous that they're still alive. A PI and a revealed finder? And a finder whose find failed on night 2? These things make me nervous, but in the same way that Dibs and Obdi's catapults in the last game made me nervous. We're missing part of the puzzle I think, but I think Bent is telling the truth.

i thought i explained a perfectly good reason for this. assuming bent to be scum, if bwgan came back inno from his find he couldnt vote for her and he would have 2 CI on thread. If she came back guilty and we lynched her and she cf'ed inno then we would know bent is lying. A guard excuse is a clever way to get out of things.

huh, I never thought of that. That's more than a little sneaky, but I still don't think Bent is lying.
