Misdirect?

Can you read? D'rek came up innocent.

How did you know she would before the CF?

A fascinating line of questioning, coming from you.

I didn't know, I guessed:

Then it was misdirection.

What was misdirection?
"pseudoscience and superstition will seem year by year more tempting, the siren song of unreason more sonorous and attractive. Where have we heard it before? Whenever our ethnic or national prejudices are aroused, in times of scarcity, during challenges to national self-esteem or nerve, when we agonize about our diminished cosmic place and purpose, or when fanaticism is bubbling up around us – then, habits of thought familiar from ages past reach for the controls. The candle flame gutters. Its little pool of light trembles. Darkness gathers. The demons begin to stir." - Carl Sagan

And again, you claim to not understand and ask a question.

I even quoted the whole back and forth for you. Are quotes hard for you to read?

What specific incident was misdirection? Me not wanting D'rek lynched? Because I don't think you know what misdirection means, in that case.

Because we suspect you?

I already explained why I have you three as my top suspects....

And you added in that the way we were acting made you think that you might be correct. I'm asking about that, which came after your previous statement about only having 3 suspects left.

That is just it, you didn't claim to not want D'rek lynched, you claimed you wanted other people lynched instead, while making almost no response to the D'rek case.

I fail to see your point. I posted why I thought D'rek wasn't guilty. What more did you need?

I haven't got a case, as I normally understand them. Because this game is too diferent from any other that I have played. The players who know each other well can say X is inno because they are playing inno, which could be right, but means that for me I have to go on gut. I still don't like the way Obdi is playing nor the way Bent is saying, well he is so out there he must be inno. I am not convinced by Bent's reveal...I don't understand why he would reveal at all rather than lynch...based on a belief rather than evidence? Sorry I don't buy it. Not day 1....we always do a lousy lynch day 1, but it doesn't usuually stop us...

A fake reveal would clearly be a risk, which is the one thing that makes me doubt his guilt, but it might have been worth it, and at that point he didn't have much to lose...added to which Bent said 3 scum would be reasonable with a finder....so he might well have figured, if he knew there were two scum (because he was one of them) that there might not be a finder? Gah, I'm tying myself up in knots, and my suspicion of Tapper was clearly up to my usual standard, ie rubbish.

But if I had to bet any money at this point it would be on Dibs....and I don't know why... :2guns:
'Tell me, Tool, what dominates your thoughts?'
The Imass shrugged before replying. 'I think of Mafia, Adjunct.'
'Do all Imass think about Mafia?'
'No. Few think at all.'
'Why is that?'
The Imass leaned his head to one side and regarded her. 'Because, Adjunct, they are sheeple.'

Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that frisbee getting bigger?" ... and then it hits me.

No, actually you haven't.

You posted why you thought other people were guilty, and asked one-line questions of people who thought D'rek was guilty, but you never actually said you didn't think D'rek was guilty until today, after the lynch.

Your entire play after the reveal has been to question Bent and anything he says or anything he agrees with.

You saying that I was foolish for revealing because of the "obvious" possibility of an evil gaurd...my interpretation of your post
Bwgan being the timid little church mouse until now, where it seems she now is a lion, who is ready to lunge for the kill... my interpretation of her accusations today
You continuing to argue with Obi...when you yourself have stated that obi is a distraction and not worth listening to
Bwgan seeming to pick up on your attention on how I must be a fraud

Thats all recently.

Aaargh!...Or should that be ROAAAAR, if I play quietly and nice, then I must be scum hiding. If I try to be a bit more aggressive I am playing out of character and so must be scum....Yay, for mafia... :2guns:

Seriously I have no idea about Slick and if there was a case against him I would vote for him, but I do NOT get/like this tag team stuff from Bent and Obdi...which started day 1, before there was anything for either of you to go on.

Did you not think that there were penalties to revealing on day 1? Even if you didn't think of the possibility of an evil guard.

Did I say he wasn't worth listening to? That doesn't sound like me. But I might be wrong.

So you have gone from claiming to STATE why you thought D'rek was inno, to implying it?

You do nothing but ask one-liners, and try to let arguments pass you by.

Yeah, because I have no sense of logic...I am alogical ;). I said I didn't know why I didn't trust Dibs...I mean I don't trust anyone, but if I had to pick someone right now at gun point, it would be Dibs. :2guns:

Let's look at the quote again:

Quote

If D'rek is evil, why didn't she kill Bent last night?

It seems pretty obvious to me that this says that I don't think D'rek is guilty. If you didn't understand, I suspect that's your problem.
