manning without big numbers? 14/23 303 yards and 2 td's arent big numbers?

I just wish the Colts would have had the ball more. Miami was eating up the clock! They held the Colts to just 25 plays for the first three quarters. I might have given TT a run for his money if PM had gotten his hands on the ball a few more times.

My week 2 thoughts.

Week 2 was much better than week 1 both fantasy wise and for real.

Steelers, Titans, Chargers and Patriots lost in close games. Not many had seen that coming.

Giants - Dallas was the best game so far shown on TV here in Denmark.

All positions had 1 or more that scored insane fantasy points and i own none of them.Posted Image Chris Johnson and F. Gore OMGPosted Image

Da beers lost even tho he had M. Barber and D. Clark.

Capustan and Girly team still dont have a win despite scoring 106 and 104 this week. Tough league or just unlucky?

My team has 2 wins despite EVERY player being under his projected combined score so far. Only my defense(Green Bay) is over!

Trades are not happening in our league. I have tried 2 times. 1 declined and 1 never answered and now i probarly need a new QB and has no idea what to offer.

What are the Colts worth this year? It seems to me, they must be the Happiest 2 - 0 team so far.

I am up agaisnt Grumble in Week 3, this is the guy who with devilry won our pick em league last year. evidence below.

(13-2-1)Grumble : Giants, Chargers, Jaguars, Cowboys, Saints, Redskins, Jets, Bears, Cardinals, Eagles, Steelers, Titans, Vikings, Colts, Texans, Packers
(13-2) Daser: -----, Broncos, Jaguars, Dolphins, Vikings, Giants, Jets, Bears, Patriots, Colts, Cowboys, Bills, Titans, Panthers, Texans, Falcons
(11-2)Moridin : Titans, Bills, Bengals, Cowboys, Vikings, Buccaneers, Redskins, Bears, -----, Panthers, Steelers, Colts, Packers, Dolphins
(12-3)Bent : Giants, Patriots, Bengals, Bears, Jets, Steelers, Panthers, Buccaneers, Titans, KidneyStone, Broncos, Cowboys, Vikings, Colts, 49rs, Packers
(11-5)The20th : Steelers, Falcons, Broncos, Giants, Redskins, Buccaneers, Patriots, Bills, Chargers, Dolphins, Bears, Ravens, Jets, Cardinals, Saints, Packers
(7-8)caladanbrood : Chiefs, Patriots, Broncos, Bears, Vikings, Jets, Ravens, Browns, Panthers, Dolphins, Giants, Raiders, Cardinals, Redskins, Bucs
(6-8)Vengeance : Falcons, Bears, Broncos, Cowboys, Saints, Jets, Patriots, Falcons, Panthers, Cardinals, Browns, Titans, ----, Vikings, Bucs

This is my big chance to get revenge and damn it, i want revenge! Grumble i am going to absolutely trash you!

Daser, I responded to your trade post on the league board. Let me know if you're intersted and what you'd be willing to give up. He's not going to come cheap though.

Thank you TB, i will think about it, but i dont think i will pay to much for a guy who is 00.04 better in points than my backup QB.

That's fine with me, I would rather sit on him than give him up for less than he's worth. He's certainly not hurting me by having him on my bench and he definitely won't be helping anyone else. I don't know how you are even putting Orton and Palmer in the same league though. There's a vast difference between the two of them.

Hehe i said i am thinking about it.

I agree that C. Palmers is much more likely to make some big numbers, but stabilty isnt always bad. Orton hos 0 interceptions and 0 fumbles, he just isnt as good on deep throws. Also remember that Orton is still learning and should get better every week as he learns the playbook and his recievers.

I am still thinking about it.

hahahaha palmer and orton ont he same level? thats the funniest thing ive heard in a long time. Palmer may throw a few int's but atleast he can get the ball to his WR's consistently, but he has better feel and relationships with his WR's unlike orton who cant get the ball to his 2 best WR's, marshall and royal. Not to mention Palmer isnt in a new offense like Orton, and he will only improve more as he gets back in game shape and light it up in the skies! If i was being offered palmer over orton, i would trade for him if i had players the other person was willing to trade for, he will be a vast improvement.

Okay well it's all a matter of opinon Daser dear, but I honestly can not believe you are trying to compare Orton and Palmer! KM is right that may be one of the funniest things I've heard in a while. You can't base your decisions off of the points so far on yahoo. Or well, I guess you can, but it's not going to get you very far!

Not to worry, if you don't want him there are other people that do.

I am not comparing the 2.

Palmer wasnt offered for Orton.

I am just saying that Orton isnt so bad as a back up QB, and he is likely to improve when he gets better knowledge of the WR and playbook.

lets just say that when we drafted i didnt dream about any of these QB`s leading my team, but you work with what you got. And right now i am trying to figure out what my options are.

I'm gonna throw Orton some love here. He has no INT's, Palmer has 4. His QB rating is 90.9, Palmers is 64.3. The Bronco's are 2-0, Bengals are 1-1.

Palmer may be a better qb, but Ortons playing better right now.

Now, that said, of course i'd rather have palmer.

Just a heads up Daser, Palmer is no longer on the table, I worked out a trade for him with someone else. Not sure if you were still considering him, but I wanted to let you know. I believe KM and SS both have QB's they may be willing to trade though, you should take a look and make an offer, if you're still interested in picking one up.

I'm feeling a kindred spirit with tehol. 4th and 5th highest scores in the league for week two and we still both lose. ARG! Good luck for week three tb, but not too much :)

Oh I feel you Brood! This week is the big showdown between the top 0 and 2's! I can't believe we lost our games last week with those final scores. I have a few more changes to make to my lineup, once this trade goes through, but I think it will be a close one. Should be a good game, and at least we know one of us will finally have a win at the end of it all Posted Image

Okay i am to slow. I hadnt made my mind up about anything yet.

How does it work... i mean the trade. How fast will a trade go through and can i see it when it happends, or will only you and the person you trade with see it?

Still trying to learn!

Well, you offer the person the trade, at that point they can accept it or re-neggotiate. If they accept the trade you receive a notification saying the trade was accepted or successful. From that point there is a two day period during which the trade is up for review. You will see that the trade is pending in your team status. Basically this is just in case someone was making an unfair trade, the commissioner can then block the trade. After the two day wait the trade goes through and then everyone will be able to see the trade in the recent transaction box on the main page.

Ohh Thank you, i found it now.

Is it childish to vote against the trade, because those players would look much better in "Bacon Boys" outfits.Posted Image
