AM I GOING TO GET A SINGLE COLT?
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

You still have a chance to pick up the Colts' defense, HD. ;)

You didn't dare pick D. Brown? When I was looking at Addai, people were predicting he'd get 40% of the carries. Maybe a mid-season acquisition, then...

But sorry, yeah, Addai was a good option for a #2 back.

I disagree - which is why I skipped him :p

Well, yeah, I'm a noob to fantasy sports. I tend to go with the names I know, when it's a close pick. Meh...

Never fear Stud Muffin, Addai is a good pick. I would have taken him if I didn't have PM. I just didn't want a RB and QB from the same team. There have been far worse picks so far than you taking Addai. This is the oddest draft I have ever been a part of in terms of picks. For this being your first try at it though, you're not doing badly at all.

Throw some dirt out there, Dearest. Disparage some of our picks! ;)

No no, I'm not going to knock anyone's picks or at least not until the draft is done. ;) I've just never seen WR and QB's go this early before. Normally my rule of thumb is that if I'm not getting one of the top two, possibly three QB's, it's not worth taking one early. RB's are always my top priority as they make or break you in fantasy imo. A RB is going to get you at least 20 points on a bad night up to forty on a good one. As for WR, there are some amazing guys out there, but once you get through those top couple really talented guys, there really isnt' a ton of difference between the rest, it's a fairly tight field. So I never rush to pick a WR, unless I am getting one of those top couple, and even then I would still go far a RB. Regarding something like a TE, that is one of the last positions I worry about, simply because very few teams run their offense around a TE. Not to mention that they aren't going to give you a ton of points. Maybe five, ten on a good night. That's not worth it for me in comparison to a RB. I would never take a TE this early. Like I said, I have a method that I use for these things, so far it's worked very well for me. Everyone is entitled to their own game plan though.

Are you insane?

In your point system the top quarterbacks are going to score higher than the top running backs.

The top TE's (who have all gone) are going to score equal to or higher than any receivers left out there!

Bah! BAH I SAY!

yea and all the top qb's are gone, and there are only so many 3 or 4 top tightends, the rest are all the same pretty much, just like qb's so once they are gone, not worth wasting higher draft picks on them.

I would just say that it's harder to find an automatic 1st and 2nd round running back dominating package the way it used to be with how profligate the dual back system is in place now. I'd rather a top 10 WR than top 25 RB. Thus, having mine having filled out his top 3 WR's spot for the entire season.

Edit: I like that pick Eddie, but think you might have got him next round. Still, I was looking at him too.

Um you may have failed to notice but I have a top QB! I am sticking to my theory that you are better off taking a two high ranking RB's once the top QB's are gone. Furthermore are you telling me that it's worth going for a top TE when you only have one RB? There aren't that many top TE's and how many teams can you name that run their offense around a TE?

I was going to wait, but I only had 1 RB so far, and I didn't want to end up with Cedric Benson.
