Looks like me and Toby are going to go down to the wire. I don't know if I have it in me to actually cheer for a Patriot. I think I'd rather lose.

It suits me, even MORE incentive to hate the Pats.

If Jennings hadn't taken that late TD pass in I'd have it sewn up, as it is I just need Welker to have a sub 15pt game and I'm down for the win. That's right, you'll have lost to a limey, HD. Suck on that Vitamin C

The year isn't won in week one, just like it isn't won in the draft. My RB situation is dreadful.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Damn Texans and their pitiful offense versus the Jets. I need 28ish points between Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, LaDainian Tomlinson, and the New England defense to beat Brood.

Shouldn't be hard, right? =/

You have your 1, 2, and 3rd round picks playing. If you don't get 28 out of them alone you deserve to lose this week.

I got 18 from Jennings, 9 from Calvin Johnson, and 7 from Chris Johnson, and I considered that a very poor week for my top 3.

Here's hoping LaDainian Tomlinson can get 30 yards rushing tonight. I'd be appalled if both my #1 and #3 picks did that badly.

Seems like Brood and I are the only close game still left.

Just read Urlacher is out for the season, with that wrist injury he sustained going after Aaron Rodgers. That's bad news for Da Bears! Also bad news for KM who has them as his DST Posted Image

Well won, tenbysix. If I had gone with Flacco, victory would have been mine. Curses!

Heh. I had Flacco in another league (with a peculiar scoring system) and won 401-263. ;)

5 things i found myself thinking after this opening week in our Fantasy league.

1. Did " All Hail SLUM" even make his strongest lineup? And what ever kind of lopsided trade do you have to offer him if you like a player from his bench?

2. The Girly team took an asswhooping, will she ever dare to talk smack again?

3. Is M. Crabtree Tuberski`s secret lover/brother and how many weeks will he have this player, that isnt even in the league, on his roster?

4. How many records will D. Brees and A. Peterson break if they continue, like in week 1, all season?

5. J. Delhomme`s Fantasy point in week 1 is Neg 7.18 (Rofl) This got me thinking. How come every position except kicker can end up with a negative score?

Yes Daser, we all know I got beaten, I said as much before the day even ended. I doubt anyone would have been able to beat Slum's score girlie team or not. Yes I will continue to talk smack, that's a good part of what this is all about. Slum had a pefect game and congratulations to him! I can guarantee I will have no problems handing your team an asswhooping! As you seem so concerned with the fact that I'm a girl, I hope you enjoy getting beaten by one!

Kicker's can't go negative because, generally, they also can't go as high. A kicker can throw an interception or fumble on a fake-kick, so technically, they can go negative too.

Didn't Gostowski have a fumble on that game last night? If he had lost it and somehow failed to get FG's/PAT's...

That would go down on the holder, not the kicker, and i.e. the special teams takes a hit, not the kicker.

Any team would have gotten beat by Slum's line up Daser, not one team in the league came close to competing, and i know i got beat, a loss is a loss, and everyone cans ee the scoreboards themselves in the league without calling someone's loss out as a major ass whoopin, cause anyone who faced Slum's team last week would have received the same. If your gonna draw attention to one loss, call out everyone else that lost, i know i got an ass whoopin, the only reason tis close is because Brady had a descent game, i had a lot of duds on my team.

@ Daser I highly doubt it! Unless we were planning on doing the draft over again that is! I do think you will be crushed by a good majority of the teams though, so yes I am all for equality!

So I need to change some of my RBs... how does one go about that?

Did you figure it out Brood?

I just looked at your roster and noticed your bench has 1 open spot and that you are having 2 TE on your roster to start.( 2 TE isnt always bad idea, i just think Lance Moore would be way better than 1 of them)

Ask if you need help and ignore this if you dont.
