when it's all entered in yahoo you will have the ability to pick up and drop players via their app. we call it the wavier wire since there is a pending time for you to get them and depending on how many moves you make someone can take your player while you are waiting on the wavier deadline

the wavier wire is how you keep a "so so" team in the running adding hot players for a week, dropping drafted duds picking on favorable match ups

Just got in from work, and I have an hour and a half to eat and get ready before going out, but I will strive my best to enter it all in tonight.

Results entered, and the league HAS BEGUN.

I'll start a separate thread tomorrow or something, I still have half or or so before I go out but I have an absolutely banging headache and cant bring myself to focus that hard Im afraid.

You need to know the secret handshake though, too.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

The Most Worshipful Company of Malazanic Masonic Fantasy American Footballers, that's us.

Clearly, the most high profile match up of Week 1 is the mighty TT's Broncos vs. the slovenly, pathetic Hoosier Colts.

More question for the experts.

1. I figured out how to dump Ari DEF and pick another and can see it will take a few days to clear. So in what circumstances could i fail to get it?

2. Since i now only have A. Boldin from ARI , i would like to try trade for either T. Hightower or C. "Beanie" Wells. How would i do that?

3. Do i have to dump a player before trying to pick up new one? what if i dump my only TE and fail to get the new TE from the waiver and now cant get a new pick cleared before gameday? am i fucked or can you wait to dump a player until you know the new guy is availble?

1)If a player higher on the waiver wire also picks them up.

2) Find the player you want and click on propose trade next to them. There should also be a propose trade button somewhere on your page. I thnk

3) If you pick up a player and your roster is full you are required to drop a player. So wait to see if you get your player, then you can drop the one you want.

You'll note that I'm favored.... B)

Edit: Daser, there should be a function so that once the waiver order has gone through (all 14 people having had a chance to claim a player), every additional player becomes an immediately add/droppable player until the games are finished on Monday Night. Then, the process starts again for the waiver wire.

Let me get this straight:

1.) I claim a player on the waiver wire each week
2.) If no one else with a higher (lower number?) position on the waiver wire also claimed that player, I can drop one of my players to place that player on my roster
3.) The order/positions flip each week

Is that right?

OK, I'm all set. Last on the waiver wire, though. Is that because I had first pick?

Oh well, so now we just wait around till next week, I guess.

I already understand why some people can use alot of time on Fantasy teams.

The first thing i saw when i logged on to Yahoo was this.

Roster ALERT! Kyle Orton has been dropped by 2927 teams in Yahoo! leagues.

Then i checked my roster and found out that 4 of my guys are injured in some way. I also had the ARI def i already had regretted picking, so basicly 1/3 of my roster needs to be replaced or get healthy.

Then i spent more than 2 hours trying to figure out buttons/links/teams and dont feel much smarter after. ;)

I am starting to figure some of it out.....i think. I have all by myself managed to drop ari defense, which i later found out i shouldnt have until i got the new one. I have suggested a trade to 1 of you which i aint sure i want, but I DID IT MYSELF with almost no help from 2 or 3 guys which dont deserve to be mentioned.

So in short i am about ready for the head coach job for the Rams. B)

We may have to hang about a bit for Bwoodus, he's got no internet atm. He can sometimes get on on his phone, but he lives off in the middle of nowhere (some villag or something) so signal is intermittent at best. Hopefully he'll be about soon though!
