Where are you Tuberski! Lets try to keep this going guys! We're never going to get this done if we're only averaging a pick a day!

Volkh has an excellent point here, with six rounds to go that means we have 84 picks to go. We are only picking at a rate of one or two people a day right now. Which means it is going to take us roughly 40 more days to finish this! We will be well past regular season kick off at that point. This is not good.

Hard to argue against how long this draft is taking. we will be pressed to finish before reg season starts with how long some of the picks are taking. People need to check this thread more often or give someone else there picks incase they arent around. Take some initiative and help move th eprocess along.

Well TT agreed to a 24 hour time limit for picks. I believe Tuberski is coming up to that limit. We just need to decide what we're doing in his absence, with his pick. If TT has been updating the league on line as to who's been taken, we should just be able to do an auto pick for Tuber through the site.

This is my YES vote to TT or 1 of you experts making picks if the 24 hours is broken without pick.

Tuberski has 1 hour until that.

I was going to go off of yahoo's list for the next highest unpicked player, seeing as yahoo is the site we're doing the league on I figured it made some sort of sense. What I may actually do is go highest placed needed position, if that makes sense - so if Tub needs a TE and K, it'll be a K that goes rather than a 3rd choice RB. That way we should at least get full squads in.

Told you all we needed to start as early as we did! :The Force: Yeah, we'll have to really stick hard to deadlines from now on, if everyone can make a concerted effort to all be online for a couple hours a day then we should make some solid progress and hopefully finish in time...

Another thing people should look at is partnering up with someone. KM and I have been doing that from the beginning, we let each other know who we want to pick for the upcoming round and then whoever is around makes the pick. It helps to speed things along. If someone needs me to pick for them, just PM me.

Okay well time is up. Tuberski needs either a DST or K for his starting line. I am assuming we will go with a DST for him. Does someone want to check which is the higest ranked defense left according to yahoo league. If no one does it within the nex hour or so, I will check and post the pick.

Okay that seems accurate, so we'll go with Tennesse DST for Tuberski. I'll update the pick now.

Edit never mind TT did it.

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....
