question for you Abalieno, Where on earth did you find MMPB for Toll the Hounds as i cant find it anywhere.

I dont know where you're at but Waterstone's (the main book shop in the UK) sell it, there were about 100 copies in my local branch the other week.

I've got them all, one of each, most signed, except TTH which I have two of (including SE's very own tour edition, which he has read from, made notes in, and left his aeroplane ticket receipt in :(). Oh, and I dont have the KB&B stuff yet, waiting til the new volume is released.

amazon.ca has the older format.

My collection consists of:

GotM - tor mmpb
DG - tor mmpb
MoI - tor mmpb
HoC - tor mmpb
tB - tor mmpb and tpb
RG - tor mmpb and tpb
TtH - tor mmpb and tpb
NoK - tor mmpb

And I, for one, like the American covers 10x more than any of the UK ones. At least there's something to look at on the US covers and not just black everywhere with a boring picture on it. I'm actually upset that tor is adopting the DoD bantam cover for US release. Now my whole collection is going to look ridiculous.

It's called amazon.co.uk. I'm deep in the bowels of Tor country, but all my books are Bantam.

Let's see, only have DoD with me now, but off the top of my head:

GotM: MMPB (guy with sword), MMPB (new version), lettered subpress when it arrives.
DG: MMPB
MoI: MMPB
HoC: MMPB
tB - TPB
RG - TPB
TtH - TPB (or is it HB?)
DoD: Trade HB
NoK: Bantam hardback
RotCG: Numbered PS, THB
BF: Night Shade version
HD: Night Shade
TLoLE: PS jacketed Hardcover, PS Harcover.
BaCB: PS hardcover.

Quite a few of which are signed by SE. I'll see if I can get a photo when I move to a new flat next month.

If you're in the US, you should use Amazon.ca for cheaper shipping.

Yeah, I've been contemplating that, but they don't have MoI, HoC, or MT in MMPB, just paperback. I want everything to be a complete set. Does anyone have an actual ISBNs for the UK covered MMPB editions of those books?

Any way a mod can move this to the new general Malazan discussion forum?

Wrong.

"Paperback" both for UK and Canada are the mass market version. What you consider paperback are actually out of print and are called trade paperback in UK.

UK now has paperback in the new bigger format, while Canada has still the old mass market, but still called paperback.

It's so shiny I can see your reflection on the cover

Mine is safely wrapped up in the original packaging (wrapped in plastic, bubblewrap and styrofoam), collecting dust under my bed.

I have the bubble wrap for it yet but I'm in the middle of re-purchasing all the Malazan books and putting them on a nice shelf. I'll actually be done with that tonight! So for now the limited edition GOTM sits out for all to see.

My Malazan books are all in a black sack in the shed...

Waiting for a friend to pick them up and take them out of my life forever.

Wait, wait, don't lynch me yet! I have a good reason. Here's a new picture of my Malazan collection...

Posted Image

I have the "book 1 and 2" collection now, when I've finished re-reading them i'll get 3 and 4, and so on. I fully expect The Crippled God to be released in ebook format at the same time as the dead tree, but if not I'll just have to borrow back my old copy of Dust of Dreams, re-read that, grab the new one, read it, pass them both back to my friend then wait for the 5th collection book to be released to re-finish my collection.

edit: grabbed a stock photo, didn;'t notice it was the kindle 1, had to go back and fix it.
