Odd reveal. Not sure why it would be called ambidexter and not ambidextrous or something. Based on Karat's talk, I'd bet your power would have been more useful if you had managed to acquire other powers.

I just received it tonight. So, yeah, handy ability to start with, not so handy to have now.
And I would assume its because my role is now Ambidexter. Like a title.

As to reveals, I wish I had something I could add, not just for the information, but for the excitement, but regrettably I have been roleless, and it seems, useless for the whole game.

It wasn't me I wasn't on. I just got home. My last post was when I was last on. Which leaves Korbas, Fener, Eloth. I have no problem with a reveal fest. In fact I am willing to start. I am an RI who has a retalitory power. Who ever attacks me dies. I assumed that several people in the game had a similar power which is why I brought it up earlier.

If any of you wasted vigs last night could you say so now. I have thought that we had more then 4 scum all game and still think so. I would rather this not end up a scum via scum with an inno left. So lets get down and finish this game off.


Edit to clarify: I don't think that 4 scum are left but I also think that we have more then 1 left.

Who cares who killed whom last night? There's obviously still scum around, so let's find them. All you've done so far is get a double-action to reveal, which exactly the kind of power I'd imagine the scum are looking to acquire. "Yay, 2 night-kills! GG."

it doesnt work like that. Ambidexter can just take 2 abilities from someone else (or maybe 1 each from 2 people) in one night by whatever means such things are possible. I know because I am one and have been since the start.

Eloth said he had the ability to perform two night actions, but he didn't actually have any night actions to perform. That means he is basically just a sheep waiting for a killer to kill him and become a super-killer. Exactly the kind of reveal we didn't need.

I'm not sure what you were trying to say, though. "By whatever means such things are possible?" Are you saying that you are sitting at the end-game and don't know how your power works, or are you just being intentionally vague?

Anthras, can you clarify? If you are attacked, you retalliate by killing your attackers while also dying in the process? This could explain what happened last night. And it only works for attacks?

Korbas, it's too late in this game to just hope people get it right, IMO. Karat helped us get the right lynch yesterday. We don't have much other than quote blocks and reveals to figure out who is the scum.

and its the same with me, obviously. Using 2 NAs would not be specific to this ability anyways, I dont think. If a killer out there acquired a guard action I would think he can use kill and guard same night even if hes not ambidextrous

I see no reason not to say. Im not sure what you mean by STEAL. ambidexter is just like RI but however RI "takes" abilities, ambi can do it twice in one night.

OK, clarifying the rules once again because I'll be bombed by PMs (and have been already);

The 'take' mentioned in the OP RI thing means 'perform' or 'use' and is not related to stealing in any way.

edit 1: That is not to say that there are definately no stealing abilities in the game

edit: 2: many have been very confused over this issue, and there are a lot of PMs about this in SH.
