Well I am off, I'll be back in 8-10 hours and see whats going on.

I've gone back and done a couple rereads. If you take Karosis at his word that he thought scum might be in a team, then he seems reasonably above board.

Kesso is a bit strange. Hardly anything on him.

Basically he has an intro post saying hello and then returned in time for the lynch to vote Eloth and then argue about it before removing it and then hasn't really been back since outside one post saying he's logged into another computer and can't stay long.

I hope he turns up soon cos at the moment, there's not much there. His Eloth vote and then removal is strange although I find it a little non scummy since he didn't join the ever growing Barghast train. But he could be playing with us there.


Also browsed Atrahal, I've not really got a case on him but he's worth having a reread of. Has a lot of posts with just one line and no content. I'm not sure what to make of him.

Nothing I'd particularly want to hang a vote on at the moment though.

Again, I think speculating on the number of scums are just going to confuse us all. Since we have to assume the scums fight for themselves only, we can't build much on any real or imagined scum connections. Personally I'm just going to assume there are at least 1 scum alive until we win. We have no way of knowing if the scum numbers are growing or dwindling, so it's no use speculating about it. What we can do is look for scummy behavior and try our best to nail the scum. I dunno, maybe we can't even trust the CF, but that's beside the point, because we can't know the number of scum either way.

Yep that's my point. I think # of deaths and CFs tonight will both play hugely into my theory, however.

As tempting it is t go for the "leader of the pack" Silanah today. I cant in good faith vote off a player purely for trying to get the game going, at least thats the way i see his play today.

also, I totally disagree with the "people are less sheeple on Day 1" idea--in my experience, many people are more cagey day 1, because they don't want to be a random lynch, so they'll vote for any train to not die themselves.

Okay so I've read this several times now, and I still don't understand what he's trying to say. It seems to be non-content because it doesn't mean anything valid.

I can't really put my finger on the first post - there's something about it that makes my hair stand on end. All I can say is that his point about Barghast voting for a scum makes no sense. Unless he actually means that everyone that voted for Barghast is in fact scum. That's a lot of scum. To me it seems like he's trying to divert attention somehow. I dunno, maybe I'm seeing leprechauns on a sunny day.
Anyway am I the only one that thinks the second post is somewhat confusing but also contradictory to the first one? First he says people lynched Barghast because he voted for a scum, then he says people will vote for anyone as long as it's not themselves. Is he just jibberjabbing gibberish or what.

okay I dont really see the case on karosis. hes talking about the wifom of scum voting for someone who very clearly is scum, but because that is obvious to most people that makes him scum for not being contentful? it looks to me like the last 10 pages have been nothing but contentless crap, bascially everyone saying that the scum are all indivudlas and how that wont give us any information so theres no way to know who to vote for. that doesnt seem very helpful either!

If we see another 2-4 deaths tonight and several of them come up scum, I would say that makes my theory most likely correct. It screws with both town and killers because killers have no idea how close they may be to the end of the game, and it screws with town who thinks they may be down to one killer when there's only 10 or 11 people left.

Anyway, not really anything you can do about the theory. Based on last night's CFs, I'd say it's more likely that Okaros was scum than Emurlahn, so let's see how tonight goes.

Millers is an interesting idea. I also am very skeptical of the high ratio of scum deaths.

My current hypothesis is that there are a large number of killers and a large number of BPs (held by innocents), as well. If this were the case, though, I guess it's a good thing BPs have to be lost before their owners' powers are absorbed.

Either way, I also agree that this sort of discussion isn't very helpful, as only the dead know what's really going on, so I'm gonna go take a look at Karosis.

Also, why do people think innos can take powers? The role PM? Tapper said RIs played a very important role in this game and I don't think it's to sit around and find powers. I think it's his admission that most of the town is RI and thus we can't rely on SUPER POWER TOWNIES to save the day from scum (like you).
