"I think i was a bad person before. Before this time. I do not try to be good now but i am not bad. Perhaps if i try harder i may get a better hand dealt next time? But surely that makes it pointless? Perhaps i am good. Just good at being pointless. But that would make me bad. Bad at having a point. Ah…. I see now. I was nothing before, I am nothing now. I am bad purely because im pointless. "

Don't moved fixtures get added back to the tally of the week they would have been in?

I don't think so. If i remember correctly, those fixtures will count for points later in the season, in the week when they are re-scheduled.

So in theory, you could use your substitutions to take advantage of that fact.

No... hehe. They count in the week they are played. Which means you'll get some weeks where several teams play twice, often around christmas and new year. Taking advantage of that is an important part of the game!!

I think I have just about enough players for gameweek 2. The temptation to make plenty of changes is significant, but I will try to resist... happy with a solid mid-table start.

Pity Ebanks and Ferdinand got injured...now i only got 10 players actually that can play. Still...better than taking a point deduction knock like some of you

10 players... but only if Ferguson needs to start Carrick, which he neglected, dammit.

So, do our team selections for tues/weds carry through next weekends fixtures as well?

Or can we change the team after those fixtures (like the order of our subs)?

The games of today and tomorrow count as gameweek 2, and the weekend (22-23) counts as gameweek 3, so you have a free substitute this week and one for the weekend, iirc.

Cheers. There's no way i can field a full team without a bunch of substitutions. So i guess I'll have to settle for a crap score.

I think i'll hold off on my wildcard until i actually have a decent feel for how good/bad the various teams are.
At the moment it's all guesswork for me.
