Well see, this is where the caution is coming into play and why things slowed up. What you just posted, Gamelon, should also be telling people that you are likely NOT a GB.

We need a juicy reveal or an outlandish ploy like Kaschan's. (and no, don't expect it from me)

@Eloth and Kara - I think its been pretty well explained in thread what characters would be aligned with what faction. What's confusing you? I am sure someone on here will answer.

The player redistribution explanation is useful, but doesn't that mean we are effectively at day 1 again, except we know a bit more about Korlat?

Pretty much. And we dont even know that much about Korlat.

He's been smug all around since the start of day 2, survived the night (!)*, claims GB membership and claims credit for the downfall of the Spider faction. Moreover, a lynch train on him will force his teammates either to jump on, or to refuse to do so and show their outline & numbers to the other two. I sense some need in you to keep him around and downplay what leads he represents. Which means that you are quite likely a GB too.

* despite being a fairly likely target for actions, just like Rashan.

edit to add asterisk and explanation

I must have missed the part where he claimed GB - I saw Kas accuse him of being Jean. Was that at some point confirmed? All I can remember him saying is he was a spent one-shot vig who people then speculated may be a killer. Although thinking about it the fact that he survived night could indicate him being a leader. I have no reason to keep him around, I was just commenting on the fact that we can't be sure about his faction or role.

Yup. Paradoxically, it is the safest position to assume.
Locke and co have no-one pursuing them and have a comfortable minority and can start hunting for the Gray King. The other two know that they will be on the losing side if they help the GB against the other. So, it seems that with a slight culling of the GB, we can resume an equilibrium

Therefore:
vote Korlat.

Gar. I'm on dinner eating atm, but I'll be back shortly to play properly. Just know that the modkill is fairly tight, so posting just in case.

If you do not know he's in your faction and he survived the night, he's a threat, plain and simple.

Hi, not much to read this morning....I'm less confused by the cf's and the opening post now than before I guess since some people explained who was what faction with the cf's. Nothing seem too match so I thought the foreigners were a fifth faction of some kind...

OR that is what Gamelon wants people to think. Gee, I wouldn't have thought it'd be that easy to convince someone you're not in a certain faction. XD

(Fringe is on, so I'm only posting in ad-breaks atm...this just stood out).

Two votes is not a speed lynch...

Anyways, while I can't be sure Korlat is not in my faction, I don't think he is. If he was honest and it was a one-time vig, then at worst we lynch a powerless person from my faction, which is bad but not horrifictacular. If he's lying and is a full-fledged killer or poisoner, then I'm glad to get rid of him (if he's not on my team... fingers crossed).

5 online, but posts are just trickling in. There's going to be very little discussion today if no-one is asking questions, either, but resorting to short bland statements instead.

Not unless his punctuation has improved dramatically :p There's a few people who want to be as cocky as he though, and I'm guessing Korlat is one of them :p

Well, I'm glad about that. I like your vote, btw :p
On another more serious note, we need to spark some proper dicussion today, and gain some brand new information.

Are your survival instincts kicking in?
Like  'damn, I'm next, better find something else to distract the mob with...' :p ?

Yesterday was highly informative, so why hunt for new until all the left ends are tied up?
It's not like Meanas' CF was all that exciting either, just that the choice for him was odd.
