Well, here's my Anaster. Don't pay attention to the outfit, it sucks :p The face is what's important. Took me a couple of hours, hope you like!

he looks inhuman enough, a bit edward scissorhands like... but there's something not quite right about the eyes... like if someone grabbed his ass by surprise while the "picture" was "taken" :p

The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again; because there is not effort without error and shortcomings; but who does actually strive to do the deed; who knows the great enthusiasm, the great devotion, who spends himself in a worthy cause, who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement and who at the worst, if he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly. So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat.

Is it some sort of Twighlight/emo/Anne Rice Vampire thingy ? :p :p

Its a good pic Grim but I thought Anaster was supposed to be a bit grimey looking with yellow eyes ?

He looks like he's about to cry and ask for his mum, sorry :p
Now all the friends that you knew in school they used to be so cool, now they just bore you.
Just look at em' now, already pullin' the plow. So quick to take to grain, like some old mule.

He has the right dessicated pale look, but I would say comes across as a bit too old... Anaster is only a kid, after all.

Yeah, that's who he remind me off as well, although I didn't have him in mind when I painted it at all.

Maybe someone did :p

A pale, gangly youth with yellow-stained eyes and lank, black hair, leading the vast army from atop his draught horse. His face was a thing of inhuman beauty, as if no soul resided behind the perfect mask...The white of the First’s eyes was the colour of honey, his pupils a murky, slate grey. Torchlight illuminated his alabaster-hued face, made his full lips strangely red. MoI, UK Trade, p.363-4

Yeah, I know. He looked a lot older initially, but I managed to take off a few years. This is obviously as young as I can go :p
