I think GL and Kaschan are both possibly guilty TBH. I've been on Kaschan forever, and was ignored. Maybe Dibs did me a favor by putting me in a spotlight as such.

To believe his 'reveal' takes some serious extrapolation though.

He chose me and D'riss as killers. As everyone keeps saying, I'm an unknown, and D'riss will remain one until we're in heaven (unless someone else has a partner reveal they're holding onto). Are we to believe that D'riss was a scum infected either before the game or on night 1, and then willingly revealed infected? An inno D'riss could take one for the team to find out if there was protection, but if D'riss were scum he'd have much more to lose if it turned out there was no protection around. I'm not a killer, and I don't like the chances of D'riss having been one either TBH.

He tries hard to paint a complete picture by bringing in Thyr as symp, and that connection is even more tenuous.

Finally, if you assume I'm killer, and then reread Dibs posts and his alleged hints to me...how is anyone supposed to make that connection? It's so obtuse it has to be contrived (not the ninja bomber part, that's pretty obvious, but also totally separate). If I had to, I could probably go back and parse together a few posts with some clever commentary to prove I'm Path-Shaper's partner. Ok, that's an exagerration, but I could probably connect myself with a few people with little difficulty.

I think dibs was an inno ninja bomber like Gem. He was infected so he needed to throw in with DG because he wasn't town anymore. I can only explain his choice to finger me as being a calculated risk. I believe he wanted a speed lynch on me to allow the DG more time, but I don't see how he could know whether I was DG or not. I'm guessing he either saw something that made me seem inno, or he decided to chance it with the person who was going to be in bed. Or maybe he saw something that actually convinced him, erroneously, that I'm a killer.

The huge capitals were a nice touch.

I was thinking some more about the calculated risk of Emur. Why would he do what he did with both Duncan and Janice still alive? Basically, the odds would seem good for the DG faction with Duncan out of the way and there was zero chance of a disinfect coming Emur's way with everything else going on. He was factionless, and totally screwed except for the fact he had a ninja power. Janice would be left, but HP was playing a rather piss poor game. HP jumped his vote onto me immediately with nary a thought.

While I think I tend to believe you over Kaschan, and Kaschan over Galayn Lord, this is going to be a bitch to work through. I mean, DiBs could have been telling the truth, but at the same time (I HATE YOU DIBS).
Kaschan has that issue of the dual-person reveal, and that just screams to me that he's either scum or DG. (Has anyone tallied the number of infected deaths? I know there was some prior spec, but how much has it changed?).
GL is just plain scummy. I didn't like him coming out and claiming to have been disinfected when I was reading up, and I still don't like it now, with everything that's happened more recently. Very convenient, isn't it? As an uninfected killer, even, he would have wanted to push Gamelon to reveal the contents of his find - as then he wouldn't be our main target, would he? (And if Kas and GL are BOTH scum, then that's a great position to be in...)
Eloth, we know, is not the DGv1 - but since he's been revealed on thread as not that, wouldn't it be logical for the DGv1 to choose him to infect AND to pick as his successor, being cleared as he is?
And that covers everyone except me and Liosan, and tbh, I think I'm going to have to just trust in our partnership with regards to that. There is just no way I can tackle thinking about the implications of one of us being infected/DGv2 - it is too circular, and has no end, and it would drive me insane. *sigh*

What we can safely say is this:
Eloth, Liosan, Korlat - not DGv1
GL, Kaschan - both with incredibly scummy behaviour/etc
Barghast - fingered by DiBs, who could just have been playing a double-bluff...

Kaschan, I also just noted, said he considered lying about his role. That drops his cred a lot. The moment you admit to that...what does give Kaschan credence, is his claim - backed up by PS - that he requested a modkill. Now, if he didn't, then screw you, PS - that's affecting the outcome of the game, ambiguous as your statement may have been.

Alright. This is doing my fucking head in.

*takes a break*

how does requesting a modkill show anything but you being a twat?

In fact, how is requesting a modkill or pretending to do so in any way an acceptable strategy?

It's something that has turned up now and then and to my mind it's absolutely unacceptable, no matter role, allegiance or faction.

I agree, PS, but I'm taking it that he did actually ask:

I've just requested a modkill to help us win, I expect you all to vote off GL when my reveal is confirmed.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand denied. Fuck. Suffice to say, lynch me and we lose.

So, either he did, thus proving his innocence, or he didn't, thus proving him a liar.

If it's an unacceptable strategy, modkill him. XD

That is somewhat circular no? That conversation with PS may easily be a result of what's said in thread alone. Or it is not. In the end I hardly see the relevance.

You're affecting game outcome. Everything in-thread has relevance, while things in PM do not.

If you're hinting, subtly, that the exchange was purely based on thread, then that's the way it is. :p

Ok, a decent sleep and a short reread later I think my head is back in the game. Right, I can now see how GL may be lying, but to be honest him and Kaschan both strike me as scummy, so I cant be sure of either.

Emur could have been lying, but I dont see why he wouldn't have told the truth - the killer(s?) are a big threat to the DG so outing them would help the DG more than some sort of WIFOM move to create a lynch and move the day forward. There would be an extra infection, but also another NK which could take out an infected or the DG. Still Barg makes good points wrt to D'riss being infected, and it's unusual that Emur was given the name of the other symp. I could believe Bargy is the killer though. If it's not him it has to be GL or Kaschan, so I think any of those three are a good lynch for today.

@ Korlat - I fully expected to be infected after Gam said he had already cleared me. A lot of other people did too, which must be why he didnt - I'm not infected. I was actually hoping I would be, my role allows me to keep my original winning conditions even if I'm infected, so I could have revealed infected and forced the DG to SO without worrying about insta-losing.

Edit to clarify pronouns.

Well, I'm out.

I'll be on before deadline by about four hours.

This is still doing my frigging head in. It's going to be a random finish, methinks.

Just checking in and I wanted to ask Kaschan what his take on J_slr dying during the festival was if he had a BP, too.

So tell my Barghast. Truthfully, if you are the killer, I have a plan for victory.

Oooh! An audience has arrived to view the inappropriate touching.

Uhhh, I presume you mean victory for the killer team? If you had such a plan it must necessarily involve the remaining killer or killers, whether that included me or not. Why ask for me specifically?

(yes, I realize I'm the main suspect, but still)

No, I mean victory for you, assuming you are the remaining killer.

If you really think I'm a single private killer (no partner or symps left), why would you offer a private victory? But not just a private victory, but a private victory to me specifically? Again, you could just address the remaining killer whoever they are.

Just answer the question, are you the remaining killer, and if so, do you want to win?

You know what, Fuck it, Ima trust that DIBS wanted to win.

Here is how it goes

I
vote Night
Then, Killer, you do the same.
Then, my infected does the same.
That is night.
I infect you, killer, tonight.
The Killer, tonight, Kills anyone who didn't vote night.

That is then a 3v2 majority with a killer and infection power on our team.
