Compulsion gives a nice vote block but only when there enough players infected and if they go along with compulsion. It would seem silly to use a compulsion right now? Unless the DG wanted a quick vote so as to try to get to night faster?

So are you saying Sil could be the DG and didn't use Compulsion is also a valid theory with my case?

That's what I'm saying, yes.
Even with the compulsion: one thing to keep in mind still, is that the infected don't know who their DG is, and even if they have a suspicion, they might want to purposefully vote for him. It's not a "symp" thing, and compulsion does not mean they can't vote for someone else, just forces them to finish the day on a certain target.

Well if he first infected he might not want to reveal as SO might not be stopped by heal, or if he DG he then may claim infected, but potentially risk a kill or vig being put against him. I think he'll try to ignore it or downplay it as misinterpretation.

Finally back and caught up. Looks like we've actually had some intelligent discussion, so, yay!
First of all, Who Framed Roger Rabbit was released by Touchstone Pictures, not Disney. And random pornography in Disney movies had nothing to do with Walt. It was just the animators getting bored while doing their work. I know someone who used to animate for Disney before they outsourced all their shit to Korea.
All right, the quick pile-on of Rashan was quite alarming. As someone else said, a speed-lynch doesn't help anyone but the scum. For the record, I'm in the "too obvious" crowd. It feels like he's just not thinking about what he's saying because he doesn't care, and usually it's the RIs who don't care about what they say. He's such a huge distraction (and I'm far from 100% convinced he's not scum), so he might deserve being lynched, but not before further discussion.
As for the discussion of people removing their votes before a lynch, I think it's solid. I don't think it's necessarily going to point us to any infected for a while, but, as Game said, it'll definitely make the DG think twice before using the ability.
I was thinking about putting a vote on Eloth when I came on to get more pressure on people who were nay-saying revealing infected yesterday, but then there was this gem:
So in other words a cop out, you want to go for the easiest target?
And tbh I have looked over your posts and besides misunderstanding the mechanics, you have agreed with someone else's case and you have given no reasons why you would vote for Rashan.
:avote: Mockra
Well first of all if I wanted to go for the easist target, I would have placed a vote but I wanted speculation first..
Secondly, you must be pretty stupid if you think I need to point out the obvious... he voted night, why do I need to restate the obvious..
I find it a little weird that you would go after me rather than one of the people who hoped aboard the train in the early votes considering I didn't even place one.
For now I am going to place my vote on him as he voted night... happy?
Vote Rashan
I can totally understand the people who jumped on Mockra after this, as I immediately wanted to post a vote, as well.
First off, yeah, it's just a blatant contradiction of his earlier playing-it-safe post, but the vote on Rashan came after there had been some other discussion forming on other people (including him) and the Rashan train had slowed down. It's almost like he was trying to rejuvenate the train to end other discussion. I mean, who is so concerned about a single vote on them?
Additionally, he kind of negates the whole idea of scum being at the beginning of the train (which is stupid anyway) by stating it out loud. He's telling us he knows it's scummy to be at the start of the train, so if he were scum, he would probably put his vote down somewhere else, like, umm...where he did.
Vote Mockra
And I think that's it.
Sorry for the giant post. I gotta go do shit for a few hours, but I might be back later to hang out and chat (and remove my vote in the event of a Rashan lynch, of course).

There were a couple of companies involved in the production of Who framed Roger Rabbit.
* Amblin Entertainment (present)
* Silver Screen Partners III (present) (in association with)
* Touchstone Pictures (present)
* Walt Disney Feature Animation (uncredited)
Disney had the rights to the book it based on.
Anyway, back to game.

Ok Mockra sudden jump from, let's discuss this rationally instead of all jumping on Rashan and wasting a lynch, to him voting for Rashan in an attempt to appease Silanah. It does seem odd. I mean I would have told Silanah where to go and let me decide who might be the best candidate for my vote.

So basically, I think Sil was infected first, was fishing for information about possibly revealing and then decided not to (note he's absent from most of the discussion on whether it would actually benefit the infected the most about revealing). He could be a killer since it was done 'randomly' and he wants to possibly kill Duncan or the DG, but I'm less convinced of that because he came out and said that on thread.
I also think the DG saw his earlier disgust with Mockra and compelled him and the new recruit to vote Mockra today because it would seem less suspicious in light of Mockra's weird behavior.
If I'm right, I think it was a bad idea for the DG to push Mockra over Rashan, or anybody, really, unless the DG is someone already under a lot of heat (like Rashan) and wants to make sure his recruits don't lynch him today under penalty of death.
Thoughts or ideas?

Well for the record I am not infected and if you want my vote removed to prove that I have not been compelled to vote, I will do so.
As it stands though, I see how I could look like an infected looking for help or come across as the DG, because I went ahead and studied the rules for both and then I missed out on the 'call for infected to reveal' discussion because it took me until about the end of day 1 to see why it helps the town for the infected to reveal and yes I was slow on the uptake.
As for Mockra, I wanted to put a little pressure there because I did not like how he had been playing, his post about wanting, but not quite having the balls to vote Rashan struck me as very similar to scum looking for consensus from the masses before putting a vote down. As for his reaction, well he strikes me as very shifty atm and makes me think he is quite possibly scum.

I think its too early for him to be compelling anyone. Admittedly compelling them might go unnoticed at this stage, but its a bit of a risk that really is not worth taking, unless he fears one of them has hit upon him already or he feels he was likely to be the focus of today.
