Good play from DK there, and a great case on Galain.

His problem will be that while he's right that his role is no threat to the killers, without a counter he's VPI. So the killers will want him dead for that reason alone.

On the other hand, the killers are probably more worried about the DG than about a VPI, so will probably leave him alive. And he does have a backup.

Yeah, I think it's a good move.

Gam can't be the DG fake revealing, because if Duncan was Kara (i.e. dead), then Ms. Shriek would be able to (forced to) counter reveal.

Well, yes, actually. After I wrote that stupid PM. This is only my 2nd time as killer and the other time I knew who my symp was. Durrr huurrrr durrrrr durr.

After I wrote the PM, I took a bath and then I remembered. (I've yet to play as a symp too tongue.gif ) Anyways, Thyr, HP and the guy I made a big case on are possibly my symp. That could be the other explanation for why Kaschan disappeared with no explanation. That was a signal he knew only I could understand. Time to remove my vote methinks.

Even more irony if Malaese was a symp.

Well, I was planning on winning all by myself anyways, so anyone helping out is just a bonus!

Would be damned hard for me to reveal at this point without potentially getting myself in trouble from Barghast or alerting suspicion in his direction.

I contemplated revealing finder and saying D'riss was scum Night 1 and Barghast was inno Night 2, but people may think I'm insane and want to lynch Barghast to test. Other variations of finder reveal would almost certainly get me killed by Barghast unless I revealed paranoid finder (like M45 did the other game).

Guard is always the easy scum reveal, but I would die immediately unless I said I guarded something like Barghast night 2.

Healer's don't reveal, vigs don't reveal before they vig. I could say I'm BP but there's nothing in that to save me. Maybe I could say I lost one charge of two charges and Barghast would pick up the clue.

The lynch is over quickly. People are already getting ready for the festival. Sharpening weapons or boarding their doors, all depending on what kind of people they are. There's been many stories of the festivals. Many masacres. One remembers the story of Nicholas Sporlender about the unseen watcher who observe the strange dinner rituals of an ancient couple, only to break down their window and slaughter them both. A classic story of the festival, if for this occasion fictional.

What is known is that this is the Festival of the Squid. Hundreds upon hundres of squid are caught, slaughered and eaten in an orgy of quivering flesh and spices. Then, as the food is consumed the festivities begin. And from the festivities come the blood. The murder. The chaos.

The last few years, there's been almost no death. Only a very little blood. People don't truly know whether they feel relived, or disappointed.

Something else is known. After many calm festivals, there is a storm. Which is why the cowardly and the careful board up their doors. It is why the foolhardy, the brave and the insane sharpen their knives, light glinting in their wide and feral grins. This will be a good festival, there's something in the air.

This is the festival. Night is extended by 6 hours to 18. You have too choices. Hide in your home or go out on the streets.

If you hide at home you get a 1 hit bp, but lose all your other night actions for the night.

If you chose to participate, you get 1 vig and can also use any other night action you may have.


The killers, ignorant of the customs of Ambergris get 1 bp between them and retain their killing power.

The Doppelganger remains unchanged.
