You know you do this a lot. Get into an argument where the last post is your long rebuttal and then finish by saying this is not the place to argue the point. Often with a not so subtle mention of modship. Bit of a cheap trick really - "here's why i'm right, and you can't reply"

Would be more respectable to say "say on topic" without having to get the last word in, no?

Of course he can reply, I actually said, I won't reply, I won't stop anyone replying to a post unless a warning is repeated or the poster breaks the rules. I'm a member and have a right to reply as much as anyone, maybe I'll do two seperate posts next time.

My post was an element of the discussion and an offer to discuss it further somewhere more appropriate if Assail wants to. The only issues I expressed modship on were the insulting element which I'll always try to keep a lid on whether I'm involved in the thread or not and the fact that we should stop derailing. I'd understand your point if we'd been having some huge barney.

Oh, and stay on topic.

[no smileys]

@Cougar No insult intended, it's just my view that associating Vietnam with baby killing is like saying every Iraqi or Iranian is a terrorist, which is unarguably an ignorant statement.

Now I'm not modding:

It was you who mentioned baby killing you plank, now you're objecting to terminology you used first.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Ah yes. But how long before it turns into a bromance?
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants.
