It is possible for the admins to implement a word filter, there is one on the board, but as far as I am aware it is not used.

He was in spoiler heaven and a word that he typed turned into cludgen or something like that. Then he typed it again and it came out the same way

Well there is a bad word filter and a word has been added to it - but I have no idea who did it without looking back though the admin cp logs.

When we first brought up the case of people using THE WORD THAT SHALL NOT BE USED about 3 months ago, I thought I'd do an experiment and see how long it would be before someone noticed I'd added a filter for THE WORD THAT HETAN MAKES HETAN CRY. Since it's pretty explicit in all the rules not to use the word, then congratulations DiBs you win the prize for using words you are not allowed to.
By the way the substitute word is clunge.
What it does prove is that people rarely attempt to use c**t since it's the first time it's happened.

Hi... I have seen a few posts today with a lot of words being filtered, or so the posters claim (for example v o d k a, a thread in the Inn - EDIT - just checked, yes this did happen to me).
I have nothing against a filter being used for words that should be filtered out. But can it be changed to ONLY filter out these inappropriate words as it is quite annoying otherwise?
