With Hood's Path, there is obviously going to be differences between the first half of his posts (pre-weekend) and the latter half (post-weekend). But I notice that in pretty much every single contentful post since he got back he has been talking about the cult. He does seem very single minded in that respect. Also, I have an automatic suspicion of people complaining like this:
Arent we all obsessed with the cult?
They are the single biggest problem, and now that I know that we will never know if we ever actually hit cult its so much more difficult

I thought Lish said that roles were not as the general rule tied to the character name. So the name is more for fluff than anything. Mind you, Carnival had to be a killing role of some kind, but then that was revealed right away wasn't it?
I'm home, so I'll go get the book to check Kesso's name anyway
oh...
so the names are pointless for discovering if someone is cult?
How can you make a cult game like this lish veryangry.gif
Cult always bloody wins...now its near impossible for them to lose!
bah...BAH i tell ya
Complaints like this tend to get expressed in PMs to Spoilers more than in thread. So whenever I see something like this, it feels like the player is trying to prove something about their mindset - in this case, that Hood's Path is trying very hard to be diligent in hunting the Cult at every turn. It feels like he's trying a bit hard in that respect...
Actually i can also now see how this could look....bad.
Well...I was just venting.
I hadnt realised till this point that we would get no info from the names given.
I was under the impression that the names PS was suplying actually had some sort of info attached to it.
Someone mentioned that its not....and i was pissed off.

Rashan's Day 1 case on Hood's Path was kind of weak, and by addressing it HP dealt with the case's major focus point: him being too agreeable. Still, there was only one person who really commented on the case at all that I could find were Korlat and Emurlahn. Everyone else seems to have just ignored it as far as I can tell...somewhat strange, given that Day 1 is really a scramble for cases with even a shred of plausibility behind them.
This would only make sense if the majority of players were cult already and they were ignoring rashans case.
As you should know cult would have had most likely only 2 players on day one...so this point is nonesense.

So, there's not much there, I guess, but I still feel a little nervous about him for the reasons stated above. Not enough to toss a vote down for, but I still have this niggling suspicion that could have been recruited over the weekend and since then has tried to blend in by focusing on the cult as much as possible.
Huh?
Im not sure what you are saying here, first you start off your little "case" saying i am focusing on the cult allot.
Now at the end you say i am trying to "blend in" by focussing on the cult as much as possible? Thats would imply that everyone else is focussing on the cult to?...so why am i different?
Also you will notice i talk about the cult before the weekend too...in fact i was the first person to bring it up. So your going in circles here.
Now i think it should be pretty obvious why i am focussing on the cult...Because they are the single biggest threat to my faction.
They are the single biggest threat to EVERY faction actually.
On top of that now we will never know if we hit cult and its makes them so much more dangerous.
So...Let me see?...you want us to NOT focus on the cult? Rather focus more on eliminating other factions?...I wonder why?
Which factions shall we focuss on? ....hmmmm?...pray tell?
