so, to clarify

Mesmerists are evil, spawn of hell type people.
Heshette are nomad tribesmen who worship the goddes of Heaven. They've been fighting Deepgate for ages, and now the rest of them, led by Ramnir took Cospinol's ship to the far western lands to fight the King of Hell there.

Gamelon, you realize what you've done by revealing,, right?
now tomorrow we will all be in the position knowing that you are a lowly symp, and thus a great recruit target. Meaning, people will want to lynch you a la fener.

and for the record: we have two dead Cohl's shades. But unlike what we're used to, these mercenaries work on personal basis. thus, they don't necessarily have to be on same team, and one of them was probably associated with the Mesmerists.

and am I the only one to notice Emu hasn't posted in a while?

Ok, Lio has an annoying habit of making juicy claims and then not explaning what he's on about.
He either believes, or is making it look like he believes, that Gamelon was not cult at the time of the reveal. I have trouble buying that. Essentially, Lio needs to explain the whole 'big slip' thing.

I'm honestly a little perplexed at what my "big slip" was, but while it would corroborate what I've said I think that it'd also injure my team more than what I already have. (That is, a reference to our mutual good jolly leader)

Good morning folks.

I see the train brigade has already started to pile. Somewhat understandable, yes, but I'd at least like to get my word in before I get buttraped...

I was convinced by Fener's reveal for a few reasons, although one would out my team more than I already have -.-

But I saw his second post and right at the beginning thought it was a signal. I guarantee that my PM will be in SH, stating, "hey I think I found one of my teammates" when he asks where the skyscraper-sized angel is. John Anchor, the sky-scraper sized giant. Might be I'm just a gullible fuck, but I saw that as a signal essentially asking, "HEY MASTER DONDE ESTA" but I guess not. Or he got recruited.

SO why did YOU reveal?

I mean that is fucked up...

Because some of the people on that train should've seen that signal, and I was fucking pissed that they kept pushing when it seemed completely obvious.

I was wrong, of course, but hindsight's 20/20.

edit: to clarify, at that point I thought my team was almost half the remaining # of players.

but....but....but that still doesnt warrant a reveal?
You should have known that it would have been futile to reveal surely?, Or that fener could be lying, or that since he has no role worth saving that there is no point sticking your neck out?

Im sorry but its either very poor play or you knew he was your recruiter and stuck you neck out, and the latter is what im thinking.
Even then, your reveal doesnt warrant us keeping you around.

1) Anybody not in your faction will not have too much problem lynching you.
2) You could have been recruited since your reveal.
3) you could be lying and are cult all allong
4) your CF could potentially give us loads of info

Only thing that might save you is that we doubt you would be next in line to inherit the recruit ability...but not for long.

It was an overreaction, true. I admit that. Hell, at this point I probably deserve to be lynched, but I want to get my word in first. But after spending the better part of that day trying to fucking show someone my fucking point only to be completely ignored...that's just fucking galling. I'm sorry if I'm not a model of stoicism in that sort of situation.

But now, instead, you'll just be lynching a tribesman and letting a second recruiter (if he even exists! If the cult's recruitment is cut off, then they're no longer the biggest threat are they?) get another night to attempt a recruit.

If you are telling the truth you only have yourself to blame and the wrath of your team mates to weather once you hit SH

I remember fener using the same line about the cult...so no sympathy here.

And you're steadfastly unwilling to explore other possibilities?

=/

Seems like a good way to get a free lynch, though.

Ok, Read the first 8 pages. Nothing hugely incriminating jumped out when read with the knowledge that Fener was cult. The only thing I saw worth mentioning is that Lio and Ruse both voted Fener pretty early on day two. So it's unlikely they were part of the cult at that point.

I get the strangest feeling of déja vu reading this - it's the same stuff you have pulled for a while now.

- Fener's rage over Game's reveal was false, and I get the feeling Game is also lying.
- I don't buy into the whole 'I deserve to die' act - I think Game knew exactly what he was doing the whole time. I think the 'reveal' was tactics not a blunder.
- Who would think that revealing as tribesman is a good idea - that's right, only cult would.

vote Gamelon

HP, it seems you're unwilling to change your opinion. When I get a chance I'll do what I can to offer an alternative case.

Gotta go for now; no net access next class but possibly the one after. So back in 3-4 hours ish as usual.

I'm here, but only sorta paying attention at the moment. Tennes, is there anything you see about about posters other than Gam?

I have a couple of ideas, but I don't want to bring it up until I have something concrete to build a case on. But I do agree that Liosan need to explain his own seemingly naivety. Again it's a déja vu feeling - very similar to what Game said about Fener yesterday.

also, i'm fairly sure Game ain't cult leader. he made a huge slip earlier about which faction he's in.

I don't have tons of time right now, but i'd urge people to take a closer look at Meanas. something about his play seems iffy.

also, Tennes is annoying the hell out of me.

I believe this is the first post of Lio's where he mentions the alleged slip. It's before Gams reveal, so it would appear that Lio believed he knew Gam's (original) faction at that point, and therefore why Gam can't be cult leader.

Of course, that's neither here nor there at this point, since I believe with a good level of certainty that Gam is cult now. Whether he's a replacement cult leader or not, hopefully we can figure that out.

I noticed that comment - in retrospect I wouldn't completely disregard the possibility that Liosan was annoyed because I was jumping on his fellow cult members.
