Ok, sorry aboutt thsi I generally try to stay away from this sort of thing, but this is fucked up.

Gamelon, what the hell are you doing you clunge? I don't give a shit if you're anoyed and Rashan tickles your delicate sensibilities with his manly chest hair. I don't give a shit if you feel small and unimportant because Korvalain's got a big swinging e-penis while you have a tiny little pinky finger sized one.

I don't care how very insulted and bothered and small you feel. You don't reveal your fucking faction. What the hell! The very essence of mafia is to work for your team. when you just jump in without giving a shit about your faction you don't just ruin the game for you, but for a lot of other people playing. I don't want to be lynched but I accept that it doesn't really hurt my faction, and yet you, because someone wouldn't listen to your stupid fucking ramblings you throw your entire team to the wolves.

Dammit, forum was down, now I have to go to work. Another reveal. Gam's has way more info than Fener's did, and from what I just read it seems Gam's is book accurate too. Cant remember if Gam said anything about knowing the setting, but I dont think he did. He could just not have said anything to blend in, but for now I'm gonna believe Gam.

Still not 100% sure what Gam's reveal actually means in terms of the game, but it does explain why he has been on Fener's side, and possibly a lot of the other support that Fener has gotten. I need some time to think about this, should be back before the end of day with a vote.

I just want to point out that Fener and Game are making zero sense to me. Fener, you revealed, how is that not the same thing as what Game did? Unless you are saying that John Anchor is the leader of your faction, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense, because I dont think the leader would stick his neck so far out to save a revealed faction member, like Game did for you prior to his reveal. I am so confused.

Somebody hammer Fener so we can find out what is going on please. Thats the only way to find out if Games reveal is true, or if in fact Game is trying to save his leader or cult recruiter.

A scream of "HYPOCRITE" echoed through the fog when they at last found Silanah's remains.
Fener backed away. "Look, I couldn't have known he wasn't a big evil recruiter thing. Or an angel. And besides, look at that guy over there, he's a powerful distraction!"
Everyone glanced in the right direction. "I can't see anyone."
When they looked back, Fener had appropriated a horse, some turbans, rags, and a large, flowing beard. "I, Heshette. All my life. You like me?"
"Kill him!!!" Swords were raised, axes were raised, spears were raised, and bigger swords, axes and spears were raised.
And then Fener's skin sloughed away; revealing him as a demonic, red-armoured figure, with glowing red eyes, who radiated just general damn evilness. He grinned, revealing sharp teeth.
"Oh, shit, it's the King of Hell!"
"No, it couldn't be. It's too early in the morning for that. And besides, I can still see him over there. I'm awfully confused, actually. We probably should have slept instead of trying to kill this guy."
"BUT HE'S THE KING OF HELL!"
Fener sighed, and pulled out his sword, raising it high. His eyes flashed dangerously. "Come here, mortals," he whispered softly. As if in a trance, they did so, blank eyed.
Suddenly, a sword thrust through Fener's armour, faster than the eye could follow. A sword of the purest white.
"I never liked you all that much anyway," spat a voice.
Fener's head turned around. And around, and around. Until he was facing his killer. Strained laughter followed. "You haven't won a thing... Bastard."
He made a quick gesture, red light blazed, and with that, Fener crumbled to dust.
Away from the group, someone finally decided to wake up.
They opened their eyes. Eyes that burned with red flames.

Fener has died, he was Morgoth and the Mesmerist
It is now night.

I just knew the forum crash would mean I would miss all the fun (in work all day and then forum was down and by the time it was working I had to disappear), but nice work people. I would like to say we finally nailed him, but my participation has been zero today, so well done you lot. Oh, oh...forgot it's night shhh - mustn't say anything!

There may not be any hints in the scene, but its obvious he was cult. Nice job.

Well, the Mesmerist certainly sounds like a cult recruiter, but it seems strange that someone with that role would make themselves so visible. I guess some people can't help themselves, but do we have anyone left that knows the books who could confirm that Fener was in fact cult and not Heshette?

Well, it's nice we finally got it done. Overall pretty brilliant play by Morgoth to keep up the facade. He must have nearly soiled himself at L-1 on day 2.

it would seem Gamelon got tricked by morgy's reveal. ouch, sucks to be drawn into the limelight like that.

of course, there's always the possibility that Fener WAS heshette who got recruited.

so, to clarify

Mesmerists are evil, spawn of hell type people.
Heshette are nomad tribesmen who worship the goddes of Heaven. They've been fighting Deepgate for ages, and now the rest of them, led by Ramnir took Cospinol's ship to the far western lands to fight the King of Hell there.

Gamelon, you realize what you've done by revealing,, right?
now tomorrow we will all be in the position knowing that you are a lowly symp, and thus a great recruit target. Meaning, people will want to lynch you a la fener.

and for the record: we have two dead Cohl's shades. But unlike what we're used to, these mercenaries work on personal basis. thus, they don't necessarily have to be on same team, and one of them was probably associated with the Mesmerists.

and am I the only one to notice Emu hasn't posted in a while?
