I explained why i thought Gameloncouldn't be original cult--why I thought he was on Korlat's team to begin with.

we have not, as of yet, had a single shred of proof that Fener and Gamelon were not BOTH mere recruits.

I ALWAYS work on worst case scenario. in this game, the above is it.

please point out any flaws in my thinking.

Right, I read through the Ruse case. There may be something there, although the fact that he voted for Fener on Day 2 makes it somewhat less potent than it originally appears. He definitely fluctuated between believing and not believing Fener. But I don't see why he would initially say that he believes him at first and then changed his mind to not believing him. Surely if he had been recruited into the cult it would be the other way round?

I haven't drank much since I cam home about a month and a half ago.

It was good for my wallet. and my health, I suppose.

but no other good came out of it.

Goddammit, I really haven't been able to get much internet access today, but I would like to point out quickly that I would assume most/all factions to be something like 4-5 members large, so another WCS at this point could also be a faction other than the cult going unchecked and being large enough to take over the game by tomorrow. If the cult still has a recruiter, obviously that's still a large threat, but just wanted to make sure people weren't seeing it as the only possible large threat.

Also, I, too, believe there's a good chance Liosan was recruited, but does that make him the biggest threat? On the one hand, you wouldn't think a recruit would be that dangerous, but this "the Mesmerist" business could mean he is the next person to inherit the role, since Gamelon was very likely a recruit, as well.

this is just my humble opinion, mind, but I think you're making too big a deal out the articles in the CF.
one of the more active mods is Venge, and him and Grammar aren't really on speaking terms...

of course, since I ain't going to CF as "the Mesmerist", this particular point is moot...

i went over the whole "Fener lynched-night-Gamelon lynch sequence"

my last post was around midnight Wednesday, my time.

my NEXT post, was around 1:40 PM Thursday, and I laughed and voted Gamelon, as I said I would, before night was even over

so, don't give this BS that "you voted him after I've made a bunch of posts calling you out to vote him"

I said i would vote him on the night of Fener's lynch. I didn't place a vote right away, b/c I don't like ot place a vote overnight, if the day has just begun.
I had stuff to take care of yesterday morning, when i got back, I voted gamelon, like I said i would--because regardless of motives he caused a ton of WIFOM with his reveal as a recruitable symp, and lynching him was the correct course of action.

Given that I believe (and have commented on it previously) that Tennes and Rashan are stable mates it hardly seems surprising that they would use similar tactics, ie taking posts out of context. It has ocurred to me, and I am surprised, though that Rashan has never resurrected his case on HP. In fact he seems to have avoided mentioning HP very much at all, after that night. It could be nothing, but I might have a look to see if there is anything. WCS and all that.

HP's blinkered assumption that he would get a free pass until Monday rings alarm bells as well. Perhaps he believes his 'team' will ensure his survival or perhaps he simply thinks that as he isn't around we (as in everyone else) can't find a case on him. I know RL gets in the way, and I am the last person to criticise anyone for not being able to get on line, but by the same token I wouldn't assume I was safe because of it. Perhaps I am just being nasty, w/e.
