See, Assail? This is what you've got to beat.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Brood dug that up? He's quoting me quoting Drenai. I bring that thing up whenever I need a good laugh.

The demotivator though is epic. I wish it'd been done while he was still around.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

It looks fairly old, so I just assumed Brood found the post (I realise it's a quote) and put it up.

Yeah I just took a screenshot when it was quoted a few years back. Made the demotivator all on my own though :)

Well, we are a bunch of hippie, high-school outcasts, who can't spell Tairy right, and who read fantasy solely to escape from the tedious boredom of our sad, miserably miserable, depressingly depressed lives.

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

And want the same clithced fantasy like SE.

Cause TGs idea of a character who is a pure good guy and not inherently evil is entirely original....

Haha yeah I know. Firstly, I dunno how he got a "t" out of the world cliched, and secondly, MBotF is one of the most original and anti-cliche series out there today. The guy was obviously an idiot who didn't know what he was talking about.
