A nice new political ad here in California. It's not really the kind of thing that will get people here to disagree on it, so I didn't put it in Discussion:

That's not really a political ad is it?
I'm confused about its purpose. Is it it just inappropriately sincere or is it sincerely satirical? It looks like it is made by Republicans against freeing prisoners early, yet it is so bad an weird that it looks like it is making fun of some peoples idea of black people.
I certainly don't disagree that you need insight in to gang culture to be able to combat it.

It's absolutely real, but it was made by a right wing political action committee and "viral video" artist, not a particular candidate. I wouldn't attribute its message to the Republicans in general, or even the Fox News types, so like I said, take it with a grain of salt anyway. Though it probably appeals to talk radio devotees, who are usually the craziest of the bunch. I mean even the insane need representatives though, so godspeed!

There's not a lot of video sites that allow their videos to be embedded on other forums (after all they loose add revenue if they don't get page hits/add clicks, etc). I'm not sure facebook will allow you to embed things.
If you want to link to a face book address and the link becomes long and tangled you can shorten it by naming the link. Use the shortcut button next to the image link or find the extension through the "Other styles" bar.
