I HATE how polished that is? Compared to whatever that Darren Aronofsky AI history show was, this looks quite well crafted? Is that the Higginsfield AI system? I don't know. The CGI and the monster are silly and you can tell how AI they are, but the overall vibe is okay?
I think the part of me that likes it is the part of me that likes the content, Asian-themed city, an almost FLCL type pacing, and a slightly futuristic Jet Grind Radio tone to the characters? Like make a non-AI movie of that stuff and I am THERE....like I LOVE the move PUSH for those exact reasons....
I think where it would fall down is less pacey quieter scenes....there will be weird emoting probably.
But it shows that the capability is there to make something that doesn't look like COMPLETE shit? And that means that it's getting better and better with time....whch should be scary to Hollywood, never mind the environment...how much fresh water did making this use?
