As I remarked to my friend upon showing him that trailer:

"Who needs a plot when you've got giant sea creatures eating Jumbo Jets?" :p

Awesome.

Sir Thursday
Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

Great comment from one of the Youtube users:

Quote

I have had it with these motherf**king sharks on this motherf**king bridge!

This looks so stupid that I have to watch it when it goes straight to DVD.

That last bit where the supershark jumps out of the sea and eats the jumbo jet that must me flying miles up in the air was a great closer for the trailer.

It could have only been better if the supershark blew the jet out of the sky with a head-mounted laser.

- Abyss, ...and then give it Hitler's brain, just for good measure...

Shut up it has Lorenzo "RENEGADE" Lamas in a lead role. No way this is not going to gross 100 million at the box office.

I am now dumber for watching that. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Unfortuantly, this looks legit: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1350498/

Really? I thought he jumped rather quickly from Renegade to Glamour... or Days of Our Lives... or one of those other crazy soap operas.

I didn't know he also kept a film career alive on the side.

It's direct-to-DVD and will be hitting local DVD stores on your North American continent next week.

Looks like us Europeans will have to suffer for a while until it makes its way over here by some means.

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I think the Octophant would do well against either. Got that grappling ability, tusks and the brains to use 'em.
