I have to marvel at his limerick making abilities, even if I'm not a huge fan of the spam.

Just got this from Mentalist, so I sent the Gamelon alt+pw to Shinrei.

sorry guys, :p

just came back from work, and since it's as chaotic as always, they've got no problmes with me coming in everyday.

As such, I wouldn't be much good for the game, even though it's less hours than I expected.

Please forward my alt to Shin, I never logged into it yet.

Sixty is wide of the mark with an alt-guess.

Liosan is openly antagonizing people, replete with sarcastic e-douchebaggery. I'm gonna go on a limb and assume it's Obdi...if it isn't, you've certainly done a credible imitation. :p

Although he's obviously driving the game forward but toward neither me nor Gamelon (who's yet to appear...>:|) so it only helps to let him run free.

Argh! A terrible conundrum! Do I fuck with Obdi or do I let him help us?

=(

Shinrei sounds determined:

Well, Jesus H. Pants.

I take over the alt, log in and find THIS. I was expecting RI, I really was. Instead, I'm... holy shit. Well, to all of you lovers of the killer role everywhere, I'm going to do my damned best.

Wish me luck.

(I haven't even read the thread yet...)

Quote

Big Ben (killer) – Although your mastering of Meanas allows you to remain undetected, you are also able to draw from various other warrens, allowing you one lethal attack per night, when the others are sleeping.

You are a soul-shifter, when you die, you are able to transfer your soul into the player of your choice. Upon death, the player chooses another alt to carry over his role. The player playing this alt now becomes Big Ben and gains his role (on top of anything he already had), and changes his winning conditions accordingly.

This shifting happens ONCE, so if the second Big Ben dies the evil team loses.

Uncle Ben is Ruse. You can NOT communicate off-thread with him but he knows who you are.

Also, I got a question from Korv asking whether or not The Bens are paired. Wasn't sure what info you wanted to hand out in that regard, so I left it in the Inbox. I'm heading to bed now.

Oh wow. Another noob as killer, but he gets the player switch, so that's good. I figured Ment would be devastating as Big Ben.

Shin Ben has a provisional:

Quote

Ok, my time zone thing will make it a challenge, so I gotta make sure I get my moves in ASAP every time.

This will probably change, but to start (and please tell me if I have to word this any differently):

Kill Kessobahn
If I'm lynched, which seems unlikely yet, move into Fener.

Quote

Slight change from earlier, with more details.

Provisional - Kill Kessobahn. If Kessobahn is lynched, kill Korvalain.

If I am lynched OR killed by the vig, shift my soul into Fener.
If Fener is lynched and I am vigged, shift my soul into Hood's Path.

Can a guard block my soul shift?

WOW. Hood's Path catching the big-boy out. WOW. Shin... that's tough luck, and good inno play.

A note about BB shifting:

When Big Ben dies, lock the thread until we get his final choice and you warn the new player.

And of course, he has to make his choice before being given SH access.

Man that is a spammy start. You might want to tell Gamelon that night is 12 hours so he gets time to decide :p This might be his first game he's played when Night hasn't been 0 hours.

First post up and already he's got a vote from it. Lets see how our killer handles the heat of not saying Drumstick in Day 1 pressure :p

I've played twice. Been killer twice. I don't know how it is to play inno, but I can't imagine it is as pressure packed or fraught with peril as killer. Catching the skimming is a FANTASTIC move and would have busted my ass in the last game, but not the first.

Your shift is unblockable. When you die, I lock the thread until I get your confirmation, then unlock it.

And remember that you don't yourself shift into a new alt, you choose the alt that will take over your role, and this player becomes Big Ben until he dies or win. I'm telling you because I'm getting confused comments from many :p

No, I realized that I don't get to keep playing if I die. However, what you just said now makes me want to question: If I haven't specified who I want to shift into and I die, I still have time to choose after the fact?r

Yes, I lock the thread and wait for you. You'll have to give me your choice before being given SH access, of course.

Ok, scratch the part where I say I move into Fener etc. It'll be more fun (and possibly better informed) to chose the host after I'm dead.

I've probably played 20 or more, been killer twice as well :p Inno is not as pressure packed, if you die its not a worry plenty of other innos out there. It is though much much harder.

Worse thing for Gamelon though iis when you see a half case and your a finder you start to think well maybe give it a check just in case.

I too eagerly await hearing from Shin and seeing how he likes the pressure of killer. Its not so bad this time around he gets to pass killer off to someone else so if he makes a mistake its not the end of things. However what he really needs to think about is who gets to be Big Ben next. Thats the whole thing the game hinges on.

That's why I wanted to be inno last game. I can only imagine the clusterfuck that would be going on in my paranoid brain! Lol. Hopefully I'll be ri in the Dresden game, which is the next I plan on playing in.

Killer is my least favorite role, while I love being symp.

Some more rules clarifications for Shin, and my co-mods :p

By the way, I'm not sure if you've played all your games with 0 hour nights until now, but in this one the nights are 12 hours.

Which means you have a chance to come back and modify/confirm your provisionals before I make them official.

This is a more classical way of playing. The rule is this:

All the players with night actions are asked to send provisionals as if night was 0 hour long.
When night comes, I wait for the players to confirm/change their action.
When all the actions are confirmed but one, then I reserve the right to activate the provisional of the one that didn't confirm yet and end the night. It depends on the time zone and game momentum.

Thank you for the explanation, I needed it. I've played 3 games before this. Two were with 0 night and the other I had no night action.

Hmmm. That abrupt leaving might cause more problems for Shin. The problem with being killer is you have to think about what team INNO is going to think about what you are doing.
