Uhm, noone took that seriously. At least I sure as hell didnt. I know it's quiet, but pulling stunts like that doesnt help team inno in any way.

Edit and by 'that' I mean the unwarrented thing.

I guess, though the only post in an hour had been Lio showing how everyone was asleep, i wouldnt have injected this into the middle a real convo. I guelss Ill try and be more contibrutive if only to keep Lio from postin gso many pictures in his furry

This case is shit, here's why. I'm the italics through the case, to avoid making this post over long.

Okay, here's my thought. I voted Korvalain last night for what I felt was BLATANT scumminess. The guy basically fake-gasped at the events and was completely active at the time of the lynch, and the night scene shortly thereafter. Yes, I realize a lurker or someone else could have been around to confirm NAs, etc, BUT after thinking it over, Korvalain's really looking suspect to me.
  • Seemed surprised at the idea that there were two kills. GASP VIGS NO WAY?! It was an odd time for vigs to use a vig. Esp. if there's only one. get over it.
  • Completely "forgot" Kessobahn was DEAD. Never did, that was someone else

  • Completely "forgot" UB and BB can't communicate off-thread. Never played Benses game b4, figured would operate like a normal master/symp. Fixed that mistake.
  • Acts helpful? Says, "Good morning, lets get to work." Its called friendliness, try it sometime.

Coulda fooled me. The problem is, despite the fact that text is soulless, it can carry a certain level of emotion to the reader based on the words and punctuation used. You're coming across as a raving nut, loud aggressive and repulsive. Fener on the other hand, as I read him, seems more lucid and levelheaded. I'm not casting guilt on either of you right now, tho Emu's comment about a Meanas Fener link may hold water, I'm gonna go look into them when I finish looking at Gamelon, but raving and throwing a tantrum hurts your credibility. Right now Fener has more credibility with me because he's keeping his emotions in check.

^^ Posted at 802 AM The time matters why? You taking issue at me for mentioning the fact that Fener had more credibility than a raving loony?

Okay, read through Gamelon, and most of the stuff was worthless. He agreed with a lot of people, he opened his posting with a blow-by-blow summary of the game up to that point, and he spends a lot of posts deciphering our silenced companions pictographs. But in his third post, something caught my eye. Its easy to pass off as a spelling mistake, but it seems awfully convenient given the subject matter of this game.

Wow. I expected a few pages from when I went to bed.

That's because Rashan hasn't been here. :)

However, there is actually some interesting stuff coming out now.
The post by Korlat is a indeed strange. An attack on Emur seems a little unwarrented, especially on evidence that seems more like a hunch. The "obvious" comment could just be poor wording, but the speculation about who silenced who is just going to tie everything in knots this early. I wasn't here for the other Benses game, so I've been thinking about the silencing factor. How effective can speculating about this be? Tennes is saying it's useless and Kesso is saying that suggesting it's not important sounds scummy. It might be important at some point, but IMO speculating might obfuscate things more than it helps if we over analyse it.

edit: crosspost with silanah and kesso

For those who want to know, or don't know, the correct spelling is unwarranted. I doubt spelling will get anyone lynched ever, but I think this is worth a vote, in my mind.

vote Gamelon

Crosspost with the entire fucking page.

^^Made a huge post about voting Gamelon for a possible intentional spelling slip. I was all over Korlat yesterday for a 'slip' but he was innocent, so I'm not entirely sure this is necessary. Since BB and UB can't even communicate off-thread, why signal and potentially give yourselves away? You have no way of coming up with a private code for each other. He quickly changes his mind when he realizes BB and UB can't talk to each other (gasp doesn't know rules?)

Yes, fine, I tried to contribute and fucked up. I fail to see why that's case worthy.

Okay, see ya Gamelon. After reading Meanas and Fener together, I have noticed that each has subtly symped the other, one yesterday, switching up today, but it is impossible to deny that there seems to be a connection. I was particularly interested by Meanas' behaviour. Yesterday at 6 he said "I don't like the 'case' on Korlat." (I lost all the quotes when I switched tabs, didn't wanna get em all again, sorry) yet his very next post at 8:30 was to hammer Korlat. Now, 2 and 1/2 hours is ample time to change ones mind, but that far? Maybe he just wanted a day one lynch and we were too close to the wire to change to Sil. Of course, killers want a lynch every day too...

Fener has been quiet, but has been harping on Sil almost non-stop, until today when he mentions Sil as symping Ruse. As I said, Fener and Meanas have been symping each other, but if its UB and BB, then I think Fener is more likely BB.

vote Fener

^^Less than an hour later, is all buddy-buddy with Gamelon and suddenly doesn't like Fener anymore. Also, why on earth would Benses symp each other? BB knows his symp!

Not buddy-buddy, again some basic friendliness. Christians try to be friendly. Its not a bad gig, you should give it a shot. I don't know what Benses would do. I've never played a Benses before. Just cuz he knows the symp doesn't mean a symp has no point. He still has to attempt to deflect attention, which each was doing for the other.

^^Oh yeah, he threatened me too. Seriously, LOL? But of course.... vvv

Not a threat, unless you consider warning about big mistakes a threat. Killing me won't help, it's just another inno down.

Yegad, has everyone gone bonkers?! Must be Benses. Uh, frankly, I haven't liked Korlat's play all game and agree with D'riss that his slip was pretty major. I damn well hope this isn't a wild goose chase, but I think that on day 1, with play already this insane and with a modkill (boo Venge) that Korlat can't be allowed to remain around. He's gonna be for this game what Shadow was in barfight, keeping everybody's hackles up and being a 5000 pound blue whale in the upper bunk.

^^ HE AGREED WITH THE SLIP.

Yes, I agreed, apparently so did 6 others. However, it was a MISTAKE! Lets not make the same mistake twice simply because I don't play very well, lets actually look at the scummy players.

He basically missed a good chunk of Day 1, dodging most of the spam fights, and has been friendly with both of the targets he has voted on today. He was on the lynch yesterday as an early vote, meaning he can deny being a 'train' vote. Something is very fishy about his play, so....

I missed day 1 cuz it started early and I was at my friend's house playing Halo all day. We wound up seeing Wolverine, which I thought was pretty good. I was rather dissappointed, it looked like it woulda been fun. I was on the Korlat train before it was a train because I didn't like his play. I stayed on the train because it was a legit (if possible) day 1 train. Why is this scummy?!

Vote Korvalain

So ya, that case was shit.

I'm not going to make the reply overly long by quoting, but here's the meat.
Not buddy-buddy, again some basic friendliness. Christians try to be friendly. Its not a bad gig, you should give it a shot. I don't know what Benses would do. I've never played a Benses before. Just cuz he knows the symp doesn't mean a symp has no point. He still has to attempt to deflect attention, which each was doing for the other.

lol, what the fuck kind of answer is this? You think only your stupid religion is friendly? When you're an atheist, you don't have to make up reasons like "Satan's gonna get you if you aren't nice." You can be nice just for the sake of doing it. Do NOT mistake Mafia tactics for some kind of mean streak.

Not a threat, unless you consider warning about big mistakes a threat. Killing me won't help, it's just another inno down.

What the fuck kind of language is, "Don't make the same mistake with me." That is a command, with a seriously sinister tone to it. What are you going to do, night-kill me?

Yes, I agreed, apparently so did 6 others. However, it was a MISTAKE! Lets not make the same mistake twice simply because I don't play very well, lets actually look at the scummy players.

Most of the people that voted Korlat did so for his earlier speaking problem, including you. I was merely pointing out that you clearly agreed with the case I had presented. Maybe one other person actually VOTED for Korlat because of it. Mostly the late votes were just to ensure a lynch.

You do not sit right with me and I'm very comfortable with my vote.

Don't even act all indignant over 'wasting your time' responding to my case. In case you hadn't noticed, only one person (Gamelon?) had even made a remark of any kind about my case, but never actually said anything about agreeing or disagreeing with it.

Yet here you come barging in with a line-by-line defense. Way too suspicious to not warrant a vote in my eyes.

Okay, third period over, going to overtime. I'm going to bed at the end of overtime. I'd like this issue to be put to bed by then.

Uh, D'riss, I noticed my name come up several times in the last page, including someone who specifically said they weren't doing anything until I replied to your case. Sorry if I replied too thoroughly and tore it apart for you. And don't even pretend you understand Christianity, certainly your comment about it proves you know very little. Still, this isn't the place for that debate.

I know plenty about your religion, certainly enough that you don't get some kind of free pass for RANDOMLY bringing it up as defense of a mysteriously worded "friendly statement."

I can't even reply to the trash that you quote-then-italicized; the whole response is a mess now. Give me a minute to fix it.

Um, I'm friendly. Its partly cuz I'm a Christian. Yo said that's ridiculous, tho not in so many words. My problem is calling friendliness scumminess. Also, parts of your case were flat out wrong, and I'm not gonna let myself be lynched for it.

I could care less about the vig issue. It was stupidly done, enough said.
You're right, it was someone else that forgot Kesso died. My mistake.
You are the first-but-not-the-last person to bring up a case based on mechanics. Specifically UB and BB's (incorrectly perceived) ability to communicate off-thread. You respond that it would operate like normal master/symp instead of the special Benses game (which I've never played before, either)? Um, news flash. Symps cannot communicate with their masters in normal games. So tell me how this is a simple mistake to make?

Bull shit. You know that 6 other players didn't agree with my case. In fact, MAYBE one person agreed with it. Korlat got lynched for two reasons. One, the early-day case against him, which was a case you happily joined in upon. Two, people saw he was the closest to lynch and time was running out on the day.

He basically missed a good chunk of Day 1, dodging most of the spam fights, and has been friendly with both of the targets he has voted on today. He was on the lynch yesterday as an early vote, meaning he can deny being a 'train' vote. Something is very fishy about his play, so....

It's scummy because nobody can confirm what you are saying. It's a convenient excuse that can't be confirmed. Even if it's true, it is zero proof of your innocence. Even scum can play Halo.

Don't get all pissy for revealing yourself to me. You DO realize that despite my ranting and raving that NOBODY has actually jumped onto your case yet? So you reveal when you're at um... L-5? Just to make sure you don't get lynched while you sleep and DO ensure that the scum kills you tonight and knowingly removes a threat?

If you are telling the truth, I can only :) in your direction for that. You had no reason to pull that trigger. That's why I still think you're lying.

Ok, I went back over the Ruse/Meanas/Fener/Sil argument. I had to draw a goddam chart with arrows to keep it straight, but here goes the basic summary:

Ruse goes after Fener's case on Sil (post 709).
Meanas makes a case on Ruse.
Fener brings up Ruse sticking his neck out over Fener's vote on Sil.
Ruse looks at Meanas and puts his vote there.
Then its a back and forth with Sil joining in to pick fun at Meanas for his reply to Ruse.
This starts a back and forth between Meanas and Sil.
#739 is where Meanas accuses Ruse of changing Meanas' claim of who symped who.
Ruse writes a rebuttal and thats when Fener takes the side of Meanas.
Fener than votes Ruse.
Meanas and Sil are still going back and forth.\
Sil gets pissed at Fener and they go back and forth a bit.

Boil it down and you get: Ruse goes after Fener. Meanas goes after Ruse. Fener goes after Ruse for being symped. Ruse votes Meanas. Fener takes Meanas' side in that argument. Fener votes Ruse. Sil is just sort of a sidelight.

So, in the end I sort of see it like Emur mentioned - Meanas and Fener appear to be teaming up on Ruse. However, I don't know what Meanas' post #739 means exactly. I have to go back and look at that original symp claim that Meanas is talking about. Fener votes Ruse for being symped by Sil, but I just get the impression that Fener is still grinding the axe on Sil (finally getting the pissed off reaction from Sil that he apparently loves).

Edit: This post took forever, so I crossposted the reveal and D'riss' response. And capitalization
