Honestly I'd prefer to stay away from the pro- con- spammer argument because I think it's taking a dead horse, beating it with a club, then dismembering it and fornicating with the remnants...in other words, a moot point.

And the numbers do point in Liosan's favor. 79 posts in under 12 hours with the board down for half of that? I think that's pushing it, even if some of the limericks were genuinely clever/chuckle-worthy.

What I'd suggest is to find an alternative avenue...I'll call when I find one.

The good point to the spam wars is we now have some really good things to look at.(it's not too often we have so many people show their hands on the first day)

Here and caught up. Not much to see other than the usual spam, although I have to admit I like the more random spam in a game setup like this than in the games based on a movie or something similar. Random spam > Injoke quoting.

The most interesting single exchange was Telas and D'riss, with Liosan and Emur chiming in. Telas and Liosan both come off as very combative against spam, but for good reason (easy for scum to hide). Telas then indirectly defends Liosan from Emur's vote by making the opposite claim, saying that scum very carefully read the thread. D'riss in the middle of it makes a mistake about who Emur was voting for, thinking he's voting for Telas, and seems to be defending Rashan the entire time. I don't know what exactly to make of it in its entirety, but it's the meatiest part of the discussion so far.
