Side note: Don't you have to confirm all provisionals to go to day? Did Korv seriously reveal, put in a provisional and early-confirm it, and then leave?

You put in a provisional with every intention of that being your action if night happens when you aren't around.

Kind of reminds me of Vampires when Morgy45 basically revealed he and Obdi were the Camarilla because he somehow thought they could recruit and had enough people to drive a lynch. The palm cannot be slapped to the face fast enough!

I just don't see the point of ever putting in a provisional unless you seriously have no way of making it on during the night period. Considering how early he went/slept before the lynch plus the 12-hour nights, my guess is: bonehead mistake.

The way I understand a provisional working is that it's a last resort for if you dont get on during night - ie that it only gets used if night is about to time out.

No, if all other actions are in, then your provisional gets used, regardless of when night is going to time out.

Thats why you build in if/then constructs and don't do something like reveal then leave the thread, especially when you will be back before night could have ended.
