Then I will officially take your side in all this. It's not that bad. There are other things I'd rather drink but if someone hands me a shot of jaghey I'm not saying no...

Edit - I assume this was directed at me :p

I was actually thinking of paleman and his wife  .. Akevitt is brewed on potatoes

If we need some timeline dating, the pics of me before the Illy Chicken Challenge and the ones after can be told apart by how distended my stomach is. Christ, it's like I'm several months pregnant in some of them.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

This thread totally makes my day. If only I'd been awake at 1:25am to receive Sombra's text about getting DiBs and Macros to say 'potato', this morning would've been even better :p
I take comfort in the fact that my reply at 7:30am probably woke Sombra up at an ungodly hour, as he clearly intended to do to me

It wouldn't have been better. trust me, texts/call from drunk people over there wake you up then you never get back to sleep!

Brood called me briefly from the bbq - I was half asleep, all i remember is hearing sombra in the background and an english accent that may or may not have been male. Then getting woken from my whole 4 hours of sleep by another text... sunday was a fun day for me :p

This thread makes me happy too though... i am surprised any of you bbq goers are still alive from the sounds of what happened

All you Aussies cower in fear, for my saving start today (well, next payday, whatever) to fund a trip to Oz next year.

At least one of you has to dress like a wizard.

But you all have to provide me with a place to stay when I'm in your respective cities. :p

Hah, if you ever come to Canberra or Geelong, I might be able to put you up for a night or two. However, you are the one who must dress like a wizard. Everyone knows all wizards are British anyway (except Dresden) - Gandalf, Harry Potter, Merlin, they're all Poms. And I will cower in fear only when you drink me under the table.

You may have heard me in the background, I believe I was getting beat yet again at pool at the time, I definitely remember hearing a sleepy Centz :p

May/June next year  I'll have enough leave and money then and mum will pay for some ticket

you heard me? This is worrying - i have no memory of anything said :p if i had been slightly more awake you would have heard me obtain a truly horrible accent as I sound demented when i talk to english people

I want to see some late into the night pics... sounds like some very interesting things happened :unworthy:

My pictures all all posted alas, I'm not a prolific photographer. Although I distinctly remember surrending my camera into the care of someone else and demanding they take amusing photos, so the blame is not wholly mine.

Rereading through the thread I forgot I sneakily phone posted Hetan's pride and joy comment, I wass quite proud of myself.
STD- I have absolutely no recollection of making that silly but possibly true statement in your sig.
And akevitt is nothing like jager, jager is sort of stomachable.

I have some photos... somewhere. I'll post them if I find some reasonable internet speed out of this awful connection at some point.

I really shouldn't have gone out yesterday, some friends were graduating, we went to the pub to congratulate them and there were parents around, one of whom started hating me and making her husband keep buying me double shots of the foulest rum ever (no idea what it was, though at least it wasn't as bad as aquavit). I am never drinking again. Well, not until the next time anyway.

This thread has made my day. And I must echo Rodeo, I will make it to one of these events someday.

I think Mez might be challenging Rodeo and Hoosier for top malaz drinker though. :p
