OK, let's see if this works...

I had some really interesting (and surprisingly normal) discussions with Illy

wait

what

Sorry, should have said "compared to the last year's BBQ"... And we already discussed how that went...

All you Aussies cower in fear, for my saving start today (well, next payday, whatever) to fund a trip to Oz next year.

At least one of you has to dress like a wizard.

But you all have to provide me with a place to stay when I'm in your respective cities.

I am officially sober and now wash my hands of anything I said or did in the last 48 hours.

To anyone (read everyone) I gave abuse to, I apologise (except the swede, that aquivit is disgusting you filthy bastard).
Mal, according to sombra I called you Jim all day on sunday, and was too drunk to understand what the hell you were talking aboot.

Good memories-
Pissing myself laughing at cougars "calvin klien" boxers ripping. They're fake aren't they you cheap git. (although that large black compensation device you own must suck up all your money)
Convincing people my name was brian/ steve/ barney/ whatever happened to take my fancy
Steven Seagal drinking game, I claim full repsonsiblity for that particular sillyness, but maintain it was the swede who introduced liquor to it with that bottle of acid filled donkey piss he brought
Watching Mez fall over left me secure in the knowledge that I would not be classed as the drunkest person at the party.
I am curious though, do you feel it was acceptable mez, in your old age?

Embarassing memories-
I have none, by the time I get overly silly my memory is gone.
One thing though, hetan when you find the 2 cans of dogfood in your freezer, I'll own up to hiding them there.

pictures forthcoming

but was I really THAT drunk on sunday?

On the pics every time I see Mal I think:

"We can't stop here...this is bat country!"

You know I think we actually have a new candidate for the "Members who look like celebrities" thread.

Illy looks like an insane version of Jim Butcher.

Of course it is not acceptable. However, since my dignity has been lost many times over in the long pathetic wine soaked years of my life, I like to provide the public service of being the most drunk at the party so that all you youngsters with your lives stretching out before you may enjoy them with your self respect intact.

I don't have much internet time at the moment, so I'm afraid I'll have to refrain from a highlight/lowlight analysis, but let me just say thanks to everyone involved for a great time, especially Mal and Hetan for providing their home as a venue. Oh, and I put one of my favourite quotes of the day in my sig .

Sir Thursday
Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

Are these in chronological order of how things happened on the evening? They are helping me to piece together my fragmented memories!!! I remember the super-wedgie and then it all goes blank. Maybe it wasn't the booze! Perhaps my mind shut down to protect my sanity.

EDIT - oh god, just saw Hetan's! I am SO on the wagon

Not sure but by the expression i'd say you're about to snap her leg in two... Now we now why Mez's leg hurts, you probably gave her the head bump too!

Yes what exactly are you doing Maccy! Does anyone know how much alcohol Mez actually consumed? I am guessing quite a bit!

I remember up until the super wedgie ok, after that its basically a blank.
A few highlights stick out.
Downing that silly swedish drink
cheering widly when expendable extra number 254 was maimed by the badass seagall
declaring, in a fit of pique, that the ufc game was a silly game and no-one of any worth to society could actually play it. Possibly induced by a proper beatign at the hands of unknown opponent.
constantly asking bill what the hell was he on aboot (im sure that never got old for you)
Waking up to find whisper licking my face
bacon baps for breakfast
getting off the train at kings cross
