I envy you all... Fiercely. I, meanwhile, will be forced to endure a birthday party attended by a bevy of pretty ladies. Oh, how I will suffer!
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. Bertrand Russell

I think we should all go out with Mac's sister and see what happens.

Also Stoney, I believe that should the above incident occur, you will be found in the kitchen with the girl who likes comics and sci-fi, but at the end of the night isn't in to you?

Fuck, she WAS my last date!
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Happy to welcome you then Ereko. If you can make it here, we'll be happy to see you.
Some of the other train travellers are going to be attempting to co-ordinate their taxi's from Cambridge station and I suggest you contact one or two to see about sharing :D

Ok t- shirts - we've decided on the Keeper T-shirt and the Imperial Sigil over the left tit versions. Mal and I will get into Cambridge this weekend and see how the prices are going to work out and come back to you.

Please can we have them in a dark colour?

White is terribly unflattering especially when covered in beer and Illy's tears.

I am too, most likely. There is a very small chance I'll be in Oxford at the time, and if so I'll try and arrange to skank a lift off Brood as he travels en route, but 95% sure it'll be the train from Finsbury Park for me.

Where's everyone else training from? If everybody's changing over at King's Cross I'll walk/tube the bit extra and meet you all there, seems to make sense that way.

Thats out in West London, you'd need to Picadilly line up to Kings Cross then get onto the overground.

Im fairly sure Kings Cross is the London terminus for Cambridge, Im not completely sure because I just know it goes through Finsbury Park, which is where I get most my trains from. Half hour from Finsbury to Cambridge iirc on a fast one. Kings Cross is a few stops up - two on the Victoria Line, 5 I think on the Picadilly, a couple on the Overground, and you can walk it in 20mins easy.

So plenty of options really.

They go to Cambridge from Liverpool Street and Kings Cross. I will be getting one on the Kings Cross Line in the lovely Stevenage, I reckon.

You?!

STEVENAGE?!

WHY?!!?!

It's horrific. It's like an outpost of the north down south, there are teenage mothers everywhere. Really though, it is a shithole. A real dump. Been on a few nights out there as I have mates who live out towards that way, yeeeeuch. Awful. Nearly got stuck there once, jumped on the last train going anywhere in my desperation to leave. Ended up in Cuffley, miles from anywhere, and had to walk for hours. But it was worth it to get out of Stevenage. All it is is council blocks, a car park, and a retail park, and a shit stadium for their shit football team.

Seriously, what are you going to be doing there?!

Quite handy though as we can all meet up on the same train, thus providing me with a source of entertainment for me for the journey every time I hear your accent. :D

There's the fast train, which goes straight to Cambridge from King's Cross, and there's the slow train that goes via Stevenage. I guess Mez is getting on that one...not worth going to Liverpool Street, the King's Cross one is much quicker and more frequent.

I've taken that train often enough, I didn't have to. :D
