Where exactly is this located?

Although in my case that's a moot point, gonna be in China. :)

Hetan and Mal live in Cambridge, Engerland.

I'm going to be so disappointed if Toby isn't just like the Artful Dodger. Can you BBQ jellied eels?

EDIT - You need a new avatar, TT. How about this:

I may have to try and source some eels for this year. The bulls penis never materialised, but this time round I should have plenty of preperation time and dinero, so I can come stocked up with all manner of hilarious props which I will conveniently forget about and leave in a pocket to find rotting 6 months down the line.

Illy better come with a nipple/toby t-shirt. :) :p

If Illy makes some excuse about not coming I'm going to go round to his house, talk to him for hours in his good ear and then touch him inappropriately

I refuse to believe he has a good ear. Whichever one I shout in he seems not to hear me and to turn and walk away. It's quite odd.

I hope he doesnt manage to open a bottle of beer on me again. That was wet.

That was awesome, especially for SE's reaction. And it's your own fault - if you were taller, you would not only be dry, but your voice would also be within earshot of my, er, ear.

If I'm moving house around that time I'll just have to borrow enough cash for the train tickets off some gullible mates.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Enjoyed it last year, so I shall be there again this year. The timing fits quite nicely with the rest of my summer plans actually. :)

I'm not going to be living conveniently close to Toby at that particular time, so I shall have to figure out some way to get there from Cambridge station...unless someone is going to be passing vaguely close to High Wycombe on the way there, I guess.

Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

Unless I learn to drive rather sharpish before then, I'll likely be training it too, so I guess we could share a taxi or something from the station?

Yeah, that would work. We can iron out the details nearer the time.

If you're lowering your high standards to admitting colonials, I'll be there. :p

On the colonials thing - I actually recently discovered transported convicts in my family tree. Oh, the ignominy! Even worse, great (times a few) Grand-dad spent time in Tasmania (sobs!) and took up with a "notorious strumpet" who I think turned out to be my great (times a few) Grandmother! :p

Cheers,

La Sombra, probably also related to Toby ... crime is in the genes ... :)

Unless you are light-fingered miget you probably don't share any genetic material with Toby.

Just as long as he doesn't want to share my genetic material, it'll be fine. :)

Cheers,

La Sombra, sharing isn't necessarily caring

If I get any more ID-tickets I'll see about coming down for that. Last one of you people that I met was Brood, and he quit the boards and turned emo. I just have to know if I got special powers!

@ Sombra - we'll let anyone in.... after all Tiste Simeon came last year :)
seriously - you are more than welcome to come and laugh at us Brits having a BBQ - and can take mirthful tales home to Oz. You might need a translator though with all those dialects!

I'm hoping Paleman and Mrs Paleman can make it again this year too - gonna be a bit of a sausage-fest if Mezla can't make it with just Dag and I representing the female contingent.

not knowing the england town very well, I have no idea where the hell cambridge is, only that they make alot of dictionaries and the like.
Sister lives somewhere in london, but I think theres like 17 airports in the great city, so I'll need to do some inquiries

but a quick ryanair search says I can get to standstead from belfast and back leaving on the friday and back on the monday/tuesday (so as to add sister visitation time) for £50ish
provided I don't use the toilet, thats quite cheap.
I'll e-mail sister to see if this plan could work

@ Macros - get the train from King's Cross (London) to Cambridge and maybe you can liaise with Baudin and Imperial Historian and share the taxi to our house? oh yeah - don't forget the sleeping bag.

We're thinking of having t-shirts made up as an experiment and here are a few of our artist's efforts that we think would translate well to a t-shirt. Of course, we would have to get the permission of the artists - in this case Onrack for the sigil and Urb for the other two but it shouldn't be a problem...what do you guys think? Any alternate suggestions?

@Morgoth: We'll see how it goes - if you're alone this time you may be out of luck depending on who else wants to crash and how many females/couples we end up with. Your request is duly noted however and we'll do what we can :)

@Tiste: Of course we'd make them available to other people - we just need to figure out how much it's going to cost :p

Regarding a possible t-shirt design, this is the nicest version we've been able to come up with using one of the design your own t-shirt sites...
